McDonald's — Restaurant in Roxbury Township

Nope! Never again. Just stopped for a quick something to eat for the kids and myself (we don't ever eat at fast food places so they were real excited) Went through drive thru. Kid never gave me a recipe which I didn't notice until I got home. Everyone started eating their food and then my son looked over and yelled stop! There was half of a toothpick smushed into the bottom of my burger. When I took it out of my burger it appeared burnt and had hair on it. I ended up having to pull over (I am sure you know why) and after a few minutes got back on the road so I could get home and call this place. The manager kept offering me to come back and get free food- I told him he must be crazy. In the end, I will be going later to get my money back and feel terrible after knowing I almost ate that or could have even choked on it.

UPDATE- went a received a refund for my order. The manger or staff was not friendly when I returned. I also contacted corporate, they stated they will check into it- haven't heard a word. Also heard from a lady who sent a email (after seeing my review) who dealt with issues, she assured that this would be investigated. She asked for my contact info (I gave her my email and stated I would be happy to talk and sent along a few photos of the food/toothpick) To my surprise-- NOT ONE WORD! So on Friday the 12th at about 1:45am which I guess is technically Saturday it was raining out and cold my phone was dead and car broke down. I was by McDonald's and figured I could get help there I knew the dining room was closed and it was only drive thru I went to drive thru window knocked on it then opened it and again asked for help. Boone in sight so I walk to the other side where employees are sitting in dining room on there phones I tell them I'm cold and stranded and need help the man wearing the manager/shift manager shirt wouldn't even get up he sat there signalling to go away I say I need help he then shrugs his shoulders and turns his head. I'm truly appaledat how I was treated and thank God I made it to safety no help from your horrible overnight crew. I've never been dismissed and treated so poorly in my whole life. It was dark,cold,raining and I was all alone and scared as a women. Think your overnight crew needs some kinda training cuz I'm still...

Unsanitary & disgusting. Beware going here. I posted this previously but it was deleted. I went with my girls to the Roxbury, nj McDonald's 2/4/23. We ordered and pulled up to the drive through window. I watched as the store manager picked his nose then proceeded to hand us our food and drinks without washing his hands. I have never been so disgusted. I pulled around and walked inside with all of our items. The man who picked his nose and handled our food/drinks greeted us at the door. I asked to speak to the manager, and he said he was the manager. I told him that I saw him pick his nose before handling our food and drinks. I said I wanted new items by somebody with clean hands. This is beyond disgusting and unacceptable in a Fast food place. I work in the food industry and this would never be tolerated. I ended up paying for food that we never even ate last night because we were all so disgusted. That's 30 plus...
