I posted on Yelp and Iām posting here. I walked in an hour ago and ordered the sweet and sour chicken. I had it before from this place and it was delicious. This time I donāt know what happened. Maybe it was a different cook. I would have preferred that they had told me they didnāt know how to make it instead of taking my $18. I paid $2 to get extra chicken but they still gave me the lunch portion size. They just gave me more vegetables. This is disappointing but I was thinking it would get better. It didnāt. The sauce wasnāt even sweet and sour sauce. They gave me tom yum sauce. It had some of the stewed tomatoes thatās in their Tom yum. They threw some pineapples in the sauce. I guess this was to throw me off. The sauce wasnāt even the thick consistency of the s&s sauce. Iām so disappointed. Iām angry that I wasted my money and I canāt take it back because Iām 20 minutes away from the restaurant. Maybe they thought I didnāt know what I was asking for. The food wasnāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTried this place for the first time yesterday, ordering for takeout. I ordered Pad Thai with pork, and Yellow Curry with chicken. In both instances, the portions were generous and the prices were decent relative to other Thai restaurants in Sacramento. The service was polite and relatively quick. The Pad Thai was very good -- lots of big chunks of scallion. I might have liked a little bit of chopped peanut sprinkled on top, but that would be my only criticism. However, even better was the Yellow Curry -- absolutely delicious and one of the best I've had. The flavors were wonderful and it had big chunks of potatoes, onion, and carrots that were soft, but not mushy. I could almost eat that curry as a soup, it was so good!! Will definitely go back for it again and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWonderful service. Beautiful environment. Flavor was different than Id had before at same place. A little heavy on the soy sauce in the drunken noodles but appreciated the vegetables and basil flavor. Pad Thai was too sweet w wrong type of noodles. Basically didnāt seem like Pad Thai. Chicken was delicious texture. Green curry was waaaay too salty. I let them know and they gave a discount. I brought home and added more coconut milk to remedy the over-seasoning. Brought iced tea and coffee home to use as creamer because it was waaaay too sweet. Basically too much sugar and salt. Pad Thai did not seem authentic. I still enjoyed drunken noodles and environment. Was very appreciative for discount. Still tipped...
