I’ve come several times since it’s opened and everything has been spectacular each time!
A little background on me: I'm not a vegan/vegetarian and I love beef or turkey meat burgers. Initially, I wasn’t sure how’d I’d like this option but I was totally happy with these plant based burgers... didn't miss having a meat burger at all!
I brought my family here many times now and we have now had or split all of the burgers they have had on the menu... they all were amazing but our family favorites were: 1. Country fried, 2. Carne Asada. 3. The Bahn Mi and then the rest would come after that.
There wasn't an appetizer we didn't like either. Our recommendations are: 1.the Corn, Buddha Fries, 3. Pot stickers, 4. The fried mushroom plate (forgot the name)
Lastly, all the juices and lemonades were delicious! My wife had the pineapple chia lemonade (twice) and that was s0000 good! And it was in a large cup... maybe 24 oz.? I dunno but it was a health serving (you get it? Healthy serving! Hah!). I also had the beet juice with ginger (and other stuff) twice and that was fresh and very tasty. My family had other juices and lemonades and they really liked theirs but I didn't try theirs.
They seem to add new items routinely so it always has a new feeling to me.. it’s nice to try something different sometimes… although it’s hard to resist that country fried steak burger.

Read moreI had high expectations for this place since I’ve heard good things and they are an all vegan restaurant. I was disappointed to learn they do not have a house made patty. I can buy impossible burger at the store, what makes this place special? My friend and I still ordered. She got the impossible patty and I got oyster mushrooms instead of a patty since I didn’t want the soy from the impossible burger. The impossible burger had zero flavor and seemed like it was heated in a microwave. Soft, flimsy, and had these weird noodle things running throughout the burger. I’m guessing that’s how it comes, but blech it was so bad. My mushrooms had more flavor but was really just like 2-3 small mushrooms dumped into a bun. There were no burger fixin’s, just the cheese and bun. No sauce, no tomato pickle, etc. I was expecting a regular burger style. My friend got some tea lemonade thing and there were so many chunks inside, she said she felt like she was slurping up a chop salad in every sip. We were just so shocked by how bad this place is. I really wanted to love it. House made patty is a must in my opinion from a place like this. The staff was nice and the atmosphere cute. But I came for the food and left with a bad taste...
Read morewe got some takeout for lunch on labour day after looking forward to trying this spot for ages. it was incredibly disappointing! i’m not in the practice of leaving bad reviews, but this restaurant failed on every count, and i honestly feel kind of cheated.
the place wasn’t busy whatsoever, but our order took half an hour to arrive - no warning or indication that it would take so long. we specifically asked for lettuce wraps & still got wheat buns. (not worth going back to exchange as we were not going to wait another 30 minutes for a mediocre meal.) there were toothpicks hidden in the patties of our burgers?! husband bit right into one. accompanying fries were subpar due to mediocre texture, seasoning, and they were strangely limp; & the okra tempura was solidly meh (andy nguyen’s has far better). the lion’s mane mushroom nuggets were actually fairly good.
the outrageous price is absolutely not reflective of the quality or quantity of the food or service. there is nothing special about the burgers, & the okra portion was particularly offensive, at $16 for a tiny box of badly battered tempura. $9 gets you five or six tiny mushroom nuggets.
we won’t be coming back here & wish we hadn’t opted...
