This is the Burger King closest to my house so it's the one I usually go to. I like to order through the app and pickup in the drive-thru because it's easier to get rewards points and they have more deals than they show at the store. Anyway, I didn't order ahead like usual bc I had a coupon from the mailer and you can't add those to the app. I double checked the hours right here on Google. They close at 1am, right? WRONG! I got dressed, went out in the pouring rain to get something to eat since my meds knocked me out all day and I didn't get to the store for anything to cook. I arrived at 12:30am and the recorder said they were closed when I pulled up to the speaker. It's done that before but usually someone chimes in right after to assure me they are open and ready for my order. Not this time. I pulled around to the window and paused to see a man suddenly stand up on the other side of the window. He was adjusting a headset but then just stood there staring at me. Never came to the window. So, I figured Google lied to me. I decided to pull around the front to check the hours on the window so I would know for next time. The window said they close at 1am 7 days a week. By this time, window guy had moseyed over to the door (I hadn't knocked or otherwise attempted to make contact with anyone inside - I had to get out of my car to see the tiny print on the window but hadn't said diddly-squat to anyone). There was another young man directly behind the first guy. I mean DIRECTLY behind. So close to him, they could have been conjoined. He was damn near glued to the window guys back as the window guy opened the front door and said, "We closed". I said, "Just checking your hours on the window here. Your window and Google both say you're open until 1am, just so you're aware". Guy attached to window guys back said, "We just changed the hours tonight" and window guy adds, "Yeah, we closed" I didn't say anything else as I got back into my car because the whole scenario was just weird. Were they being robbed and that's why window guys responses were robotic and pre-recorded sounding and why the other guy was glued to his back (to hide a gun maybe?) All of it was very, very bizarre. I don't know what it was but every hair I own was standing on end and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Very unsettling encounter to say the least. Read moreWhile I have had fairly smooth ordering from this location the last times I’ve been. This recent visit on the 29th of January was really upsetting. I ordered through the app by pickup,the app said my meal would be ready at 6:06 am. I walked to the location and got there at 6:09.
There was two employees in there who wouldn’t notice me despite me knocking on the door a bit. Both employees were women. I know this location has locked their doors so no entry is permitted inside the couple times I’ve visited. You can only do mobile pickups or drive-thru.
I continually waited and knocked on the door,periodically the employees would look at me but NEITHER EVER opened the door to see what I needed. I know good and well they saw me because the cook kept looking at me. I could visible see my order just sitting there the entire time. It was already made when I got there. There was no line and my entire time of waiting,only one car went through the drive-thru(that car/passenger will get mentioned).
I waited outside in 38 degrees temperature until I was going to head off because my shift was gonna start soon. Thank God,a Good Samaritan who went through the drive-thru noticed I was standing out there and wanted to check in on me. She offered to go through the drive thru to let them know I was the lady waiting outside all this time for her mobile order. I could not thank her enough because at least she made an effort to communicate with me unlike the employees.
