Pay attention to the numerous 1 star reviews over the last several months. Trust me, you are better off driving to a different Chipotle location.
Over the last several years, this has been my go to Chipotle location. It was no different than most other locations, but it was conveniently near my apartment. I eat here at least once a week (I know, not good for me, but here we are regardless).
In the last year, every single time I go to this location, one or more of the following problems exists. The register is down and they can only accept exact cash payments (no card), they are out of chips (more often than not), they are out of soda/ice, they don't have sour cream.
I promise you that these issues are not infrequent. The payment issue happens at least once a month and will be down for several days. They are out of chips about 75% of the time, and I am making a point of not exaggerating on this. There has not been a single time in the last several months where there wasn't at least one of these issues, but often times it's all of these issues at once.
Also, and this is a huge issue, they frequently make their online to-go items in the front. There are so many online orders that they usually have to make 2 or 3 online orders and then they will help the person in front of them. I have been here when only myself and a couple other people are in line but the wait still ends up being 20 minutes.
The workers here are great and I feel awful for them, but this place is horribly managed. I am really hoping this review helps, but in reality it seems impossible for a place like Chipotle to fail. Do...
Read moreWorst Chipotle I ever visited on 8/06/16, and I've been to many throughout LA. Ordered a quesadilla and it barely had any meat. It was beef which costs the most like $8. Might as well have ordered a burrito and could've actually had enough to eat. Cashier told me I had to cut my quesadilla. How the F am I going to cut it myself? A big floppy piece of food cut on top of foil with a plastic knife? The foil will rip.. It goes through and touches the table, that's not sanitary. Maybe that was a new policy that was recent at that time, not sure, but I've never heard that before from any other Chipotle. I normally never ever complain unless it's that bad. Cashier offered me a little cup of beef that I could add myself to my quesadilla. Talked to the manager about everything and of course she tried to buy me off with free coupons. She looked almost like a kid in high school, didn't seem to know how to handle it. I didn't care about the mishap as much as what was troubling me was all the employees apathetic attitude, no one cared or seemed to desire improvement. If this wasn't a corporate eatery in a busy mall, any restaurant like that would fail miserably. No one wants to pay for horrid service/product. Getting tired of Chipotle in general to be honest, they don't seem to care about customer concerns. I once chipped my tooth on an avocado stem from guacamole and they were supposed to call me back but never did. When there's a new chain that's gmo free, i will switch and never come back. Read moreI normally don't submit reviews for restaurants, but in this case, I felt like I needed to. Not even an hour ago, I went in to order crunchy shell tacos. I was told that there were no more crunchy shells left. At 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon--ridiculous! When I asked when the best time was to come in and order crunchy tacos, I was told "10:00"...in the morning. More than ridiculous! Who's eating tacos at 10 in the morning?
Chipotle ought to be ashamed of themselves doing their customers this way! Oh...there were no napkins available either--I had to ask about those, too. I think that I'll be making my tacos at home from now on.
July 19, 2023 UPDATE: Oops, I did it again! I went to this location AGAIN possibly thinking I was going to get better service. Wrong! About 1:45 pm, I walked in, waited in line BEHIND 6 other customers for about 10+ minutes, got up to the counter, only to be told that there was NO MORE CHICKEN left! A staff member couldn't have announced this WHILE people were waiting in line?? No one had time to write a sign, anything?! I was SO DISGUSTED, I just walked out.
