We went here b/c it was late and they had good reviews. My burrito (bean deluxe) felt like a water balloon - mostly liquid. I really wish I could post a video of it undulating. I think by adding lots of water to everything, they think they are saving money (which is true). But it makes for an unappealing meal that you contemplate using a spoon to eat. I would have added rice, but they use chicken stock. Also a bit weird to eat a lukewarm burrito ( guac, sour cream, and cheese were cold, so beans didn't stay hot). My husband reported that his burrito (super burrito with pollo) was just salty. It would be nice if they included chips ( I was surprised they didn't) as it would cost them 0.25c , but give some texture to a very mushy meal. The salsas were quite good though.

Well, all I could do is tell her let's go to Chita's Taqueria and celebrate! My old pal'et, Patti Pumpernickel from my stompin around days called to tell me she just got a brand new Peg Leg and wanted to show it off! Said.. it goes all the way up to where it counts! and even has a quick release...you know... just in case! Said..It's all tricked out, even has a secret compartment for my little deringer, it's cooler than Steve McQueen! You just gotta get here! I made tracks all the way, and made it to Sactown in record time. The Peg Leg was very cool, but not as cool as Steve McQueen. But...Man-O-Man those crunchy tacos from Chita's Taqueria were Amazing! 5 Stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

Ordered at the window and waited outside for over 30 minutes this afternoon for a lukewarm burrito and a sad, soggy torta when no one else was in line. Burrito was supposed to have ham and instead had an overload of beans. Torta was sloppily made and the bread only half covered in ingredients. Meanwhile, employees were audibly arguing in the shop. I've been coming to Chita's consistently and am disappointed in the lack of communication, poor customer service, and lackluster food. Could not order ahead online because menu is out of date. Wasted 40 min of my time and $20. What is going on here??

Tiny neighborhood spot, a handful of tables more used for waiting than eating. The spot was absolutely packed when we got there and had a train of both diners, carry-out, and delivery drivers in a line nearly out the door at times. We all know this as the traditional sign in neighborhood dining that you're in for a long time but a good time. We were waiting on 2 chimichanga and a burrito for probably a titch over 20 minutes. The wait was worth it, got a decent sized cabeza chimichanga for $12~. Fresh ingredients, DID have a lil issue with the wrap of the changa (ingredients were not layered well) but it's a thing that can happen occasionally. Repeat offense is sign of improper training, a one time flub-up during a rush is negligible. One friend had a fish burrito that he said was absolute fire, another got the asada chimichanga. Full disclosure, the third man said he wasn't as happy with the fry job on his changa, but he was just craving something a bit more trashy (he mentioned ground beef lol, he can get Taco Bell next time) where this was a bit more high quality. The meat was very good, the tortilla was delightful. Def recommended, good portions and high quality food for...

Last night about 8:00to 8:30pm me and my wife had a delivery for post mates and it took an hour and 45 minutes to make a quesadilla now I don't know about you guys but it don't take me an hour and 45 minutes to nuke a piece of cheese on a grill with a freaking tortilla it is completely outrageous I sat in my car thank God it wasn't a hot as h* outside and the customer was more than happy to understand the situation. now let alone it being a sit down restaurant, why would it take more than 10 minutes to warm up a piece of Tortilla and cheese... and when the a workers were approached they kept on making it seem like they didn't know how to do their job. Now I used to manage a McDonald's I would fire my co_ manager for acting like that or any worker acting like that toward a customer it is not acceptable... I will not be going there as a customer, regardless to how good their food is, customer service is key, customer is right, and hour and 45 minutes is badd business ...

This is review is from an ex regular customer and it happened last Saturday 4/16/23 at 430pm. I ordered a bunch of food for the family for pickup as usual, gave a tip as usual, I got home after 20 minutes, I was surprised to see that 1 major item ( Chita fries) was missing from the bag. I was very frustrated because the restaurant is over 10 miles away and the fam is excited and hungry. I called to let them know what happened and got transferred to the Manager Astal(?). She was nonchalant with her first response, "we missed your order, do you want a refund or do you want to come back?". I was more frustrated and angry because of her tone and attitude more than anything. Only after I pointed that out did she change her tone and apologized... I'm also in the service business, I understand mistakes can happen but I don't like the attitude " oh we missed it, too bad! Do you want a refund?"

There are plenty of restaurants in this with good food I...
