This was a lesson. We live a half block away. Always heard their noise especially from 9:30 pm to 2:30 a.m. so we thought we should at lest try it. Went for dinner. It was different. I live less than a block away. My husband and I thought we would try it for food. It was very noisy but it's ok, neighborhood bar. No real waiting on tables. The baseball game was on, lots of tvs. My husband ordered our drinks at bar. They have an odd rule of; if drinks are under $10 then it was still $10. Our 2 draft beers was $8.50. Unless you ordered food. they make it was an open tab for liquor, you do not get any options for this. He was not happy about this.
He then ordered food from the cook. He saw her not use gloves in preparation of food but only bare hands in handling the raw meat. He came to tell me these events. Asked isn't she supposed to wear gloves? I said yes. So it all hit us wrong. It was not good vibes.
So he cancel the food. Then talked to manager about paying only $8.50. Was offered a shot so it would come out to the $10's. He said no. He was very upset. For the most part he does not get upset about stuff. So this upset was off the charts for him. I was very disappointed for many peoplr come here, guess just to get drunk. I would not...

So its my friend bday and I'm like brunch time, where 🤔 and I say here since it's the feeling today... . Start off with a mimosa and its not my favorite here, then quickly switched to a nice cold pbr, but no cold cup came with the beer can so I pour it into my champagne glass... it was a night and day for sure. . Then start out with some pork chop and eggs, French toast, ham and cheese omelette, and biscuits and gravy. . The biscuits and gravy was amazing. Tasted like clam chowder and I loved the gravy. Will have to come here just for this on a brunch day again. . French toast it was meh. Nothing special. Looked sad when it came out. Not bad but can be skipped next time. . Pork chop and eggs, one of my new fav. The pork chop was good and soft. And egg and hashbrown comes with it too.... also the pork chop is boneless so yay! . Overall I had a good brunch with a nice cold beer. So yes amazing place to come for brunch and cold drinks to start the day early. They open at 6am til 2am so yea beer in the...
Read moreA blonde chick from the bar served us food at our table. We had a group of 5. When I ordered the BLT which was $6.. she asked me I wanted “THE” side with it… so I went with fries. My meal ended up being $10 because the fries were $4 additional and I wasn’t made aware. She also complained to my table (more than once) about how she “wanted to get out of there.” She tried to dip out by saying she was leaving and it was ok for us to transfer our tab. When we said we were ready to go she just brought one tab out, not split in any way. When ordering she said the monzerella sticks were ON THE HOUSE. Then.. when we asked her to split it The tab… turns out we were charged TWICE for the one order of $10 mozzarella sticks. Because we came in with a few drinks in our system I feel like we she tried to take advantage of the situation. I will...
