This restaurant is another decent Indian/Pakistani restaurant we would like to add on to our good eats and recommendations list. The food served was hot, fresh, and delicious. The menu selections are all HALAL. We decided to try out the buffet, which is offered only on Tuesday, Friday, and weekends. When we arrived, it seemed like there were only a few small portions left. Following were the items on the menu on that day: Vegetable Pakoras, Chicken Biryani, Poori, Dal Tadka, Chicken Tikka Masala, Achari Chicken, Fried Fish, Tandoori Chicken, Salad, Rice Kheer, and Seasoned Jerra Rice. They also serve Fresh Garlic Naan or Regular Naan. We loved and enjoyed every item at the buffet, but the Fried Fish and Chicken Tandoori was exceptional. It was tender, well cooked, and tasted delicious. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food ($19.99 per person). The staff seemed courteous, and made every customer feel welcome and warm. This is the best spot to get Indian/Pakistani food in South Sacramento. Overall, it was a nice place to try out, and we definitely recommend it for the flavorsome food.

It should be Zero Star one star is also too much for them . I am not recommending any one spicily in Ramadan Month for eftari. They don’t have enough workers to arrange and take care of the Castumer you have to wait long time at least 20 minutes for them to bring something on the put. When u ask them they ignored today was my super bad day for eftari in this Kababi N Chutney . I am never ever coming again and promised any one I know I will let him know here is not place for eating. Today just I got onions

Another Pakistani/indian restaurant serving Halal food in Sacramento. You can enjoy dine in here with their veg and non veg dishes in their dining hall with good capacity. Gave 3 stars for cleanliness and food also. Ordered Beef Seekh Kabab, Tikka boti and Fish platter which was served with Plain Zeera rice. Fish was really good but kabab and tikka boti weren't upto the mark or didn't have the taste which we were expected.

I’ve heard a lot about this place and was recommended by many of my Pakistani friends to try it and I was very disappointed. If I could give negative stars I would. First it’s in a run down unsafe area, parking was terrible. That’s just entering the lot. Walking into the restaurant…the glass doors were so dirty I was second guessing if I should even eat there. But we were hungry so we continued in. I’ve been to other Pakistani/Indian restaurants and most are beautifully decorated and look nice but this place was dingy and out dated but ok fine I was hoping the food would be good. We waited 25 minutes before the waiter came and took our order which was ridiculous since they weren’t even that busy. Then the food came another 40 minutes later which is outrageous for a restaurant. And the food was not as good as other places I’ve eaten at. The dishes we were give originally were dirty and we had to request new ones (silverware and glasses). How they are in business is beyond me. The staff were NOT welcoming or friendly they were chitchatting too much and on their phone and ignoring customers. The bathroom was disgusting. They need to be shut down because it just looks unsanitary just walking in with dirty...

I’m sooo lazy when it comes to reviewing places but this is worth it. Just moved out here and was looking for my new Indian food place to go. Saw this place a few times but got distracted by all the other places around and the price. Took me two times within 3 months to stop and just go in. I’ve been to a lot of Indian restaurants all around the bay and sac and loved them. Let me tell you though. Came here late on a Sunday, already had dinner but was still kinda wanting dessert or whatever. Was driving by with a friend and said What the hell and decided to do it. Started with the veggie thing looked like broccoli and it was good. I asked for white rice and they offered naan. I went down the line and it all just started to taste better and better. Butter chicken. Chicken tiki Marsala. Lamb curry this is my favorite and it was even better here. I have a friend who’s mom makes this really good. Some other curry and yogurt and that orange sticky stuff I guess chutney. It was all very very good! Very nice people running the place! It was soooooooo gooooooood. I had around 4 plates was wayyy past full and still wanted more it was sooo flavorful! Wow! Heaven! Love this place!...

Review for Kabab N Chutney – Best Indian & Pakistani Food in Sacramento

If you’re craving authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine in Sacramento, Kabab N Chutney is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the aroma of sizzling spices and fresh grilled meats that instantly make your mouth water.

Their kebabs are perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and served with the most delicious chutneys that add the perfect tangy and spicy kick. The butter chicken is rich and creamy, with just the right balance of spices, and the biryani is aromatic, loaded with tender meat, and bursting with authentic flavors. The garlic naan is soft, warm, and pairs beautifully with every dish.

What truly sets this place apart is their commitment to quality and authenticity. Every bite tastes homemade, yet elevated to restaurant perfection. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the service is warm and welcoming.

Whether you’re a fan of street-style chaat, smoky tandoori dishes, or rich curries, Kabab N Chutney delivers on all fronts. Hands down, the best Indian and Pakistani food in Sacramento! Highly...
