I’ve liked this spot before, but unfortunately had a bad experience. I’ve noticed the service has been declining for 2 years now too. I got the usual, and the avocado toast was served on moldy bread (I didn’t notice until I took a bite and puked) I brought it back, and while one employee apologized, the other just refunded me with no comment. Disappointing experience, hoping it was a one-off, but I wanted to share in case it helps them prevent this in the future. I won’t go back for a while or recommend this spot anymore. It’s unfortunate because I live so close. They need to work on their hospitality, because I literally could’ve gotten sick. Wait I still might.

Edit in response to the owners comment: Hi Greg, I appreciate the quick reply, but I respectfully disagree with your employee’s assessment. The top slice of bread clearly showed discoloration and fuzziness, and it was noticeably stale. I don’t appreciate having my concern dismissed, there’s no reason I would make this up. I’ve ordered your avocado toast multiple times before without issue, but this was the first time the...

Have you ventured to find this hidden gem of a coffee shop on N Street downtown? It is located in a historic quick school building in midtown, Sacramento , immediately lending to its charm. But when you walk through the entrance to this coffee shop which is located to the hallway immediately to your right. When you enter the building, you are immediately overwhelmed with the stunning charm and atmosphere. Light jazz, airy large open windows, salmon, pink walls, and lots of antique trinkets to look at. I ordered a latte and avocado toast slider. The coffee only comes in one size from what I could tell. It was delicious. When I got the slider I was surprised how small it was, but when I took my first bite the flavors were stunning. It was very good. I could tell a lot of care was taken to make it. One could easily spend a few hours here. Relaxing, reading a book, working on your laptop, catching up with friends and having a nice coffee. I will certainly be back and highly...

I love coming here! This coffee shop is absolutely adorable, beautifully decorated m, has seating inside and in the hallway, friendly staff, and great menu items. I usually get an iced matcha with their delicious matcha whip on top. So far I’ve tried variations of their matcha with different syrups and their new banana cream matcha. The banana matcha was super tasty, perfect amount of sweetness and the flavors balanced out well.

The cafe has a ton of cute stickers, cards, candle holders, and other nicknacks from small businesses for sale! I love getting stickers here. They also have food items, my friend has been recommending their prosciutto sandwich to me and the review is that that sandwich is amazing and filling. I’ve had some pastries here and they’ve all been tasty! I really recommend this cafe, it is lovely inside, can get packed, but great for sitting and reading or getting a drink and then walking...
