Norton's Eastside Sports Bar — Restaurant in Safety Harbor

Very poor service, everytime we come in the waiters and waitresses saw us but keep ignoring us and always takes 45 minutes before someone comes to our table, the buzz shorty fat boy is worse he always ignores seeing us even if we try to get his attention to at least tell somebody that we’re here. This time friday night September 29 I had to go to the bar to get our order, I tried to call the female bar tender first, she just walked passed by me, a guy bar tender saw me but pretended he didn’t see me I had to call him and finally got our orders, but he didn’t look so happy that he had to bring a pitcher of beer to our table. By the way we live in the neighborhood, we moved here in 2016 and been coming here since then. We had nothing but very good experience and great service. But not in the last 6 mos. the staff were just bad, customer service were very very bad, except for the one waitress who is a dental assistant and the black guy waiter or bartender. This is a huge sports bar with wide screens on three sides of the walls, darts, and various other games. It's also one of the only places in the Safety Harbor area that is open until 2 a.m. weekdays and 3 p.m. weekends. So if it's late night you're looking for, this is it.

The bar is well stocked, there's an okay selection of craft beers, and the bartender's are professional, friendly, and helpful. I was solo and the few other customers were engaging and talkative.

The menu is standard bar fare of wings, burgers, fries, salads, and a selection of entrees. Nothing that appeared to be original, but in all fairness, I was there once at happy hour and did not eat. I will mention that they had steamed shrimp which I plan to try on my next visit.

Cool venue. But by far, the worst service I have ever seen. The bartenders walk by and don’t acknowledge you at all. You have to get their attention to get a drink. **This was a slow Tues night. Everyone walks around like they hate their life and all customers are a burden. One guy behind the bar looked like he just got taken down in a bar fight with bandages all over his face was walking around picking up trash, and cleaning dirty tables. He never washed his hands the entire time we were there and was burying his hands in the limes and lemons, and putting them in the drinks for customers. Sometimes putting his fingers in the drinks. It was disgusting!!!! The guy next to us at the bar left, and his dirty dishes were at the bar for 45 minutes before anyone picked them up. It’s a shame, because it’s a cool place.
