Thank you Cubby for bringing your restaurant south to St. George. It has been a welcome addition to the restaurant scene. I am impressed by the light, open feeling in the restaurant, by the quality and variety of food selections ( a little bit of everything for everyone) and your staff. I have visited about 6 or 7 times. Your staff is wonderful. The restaurant is always clean and orderly. And I notice that your staff takes pride in their work.

Today I was greeted by one guy who welcomed me to Cubby’s. How often does that happen today. He also went around and was asking people if they needed anything. I have been telling all my friends that they have to come and try Cubby’s. As I was waiting for my take out I chatted with a couple who this was their first time. I told them they will love the sweet potato fries and Gypsy burger. I also told them to try your salads especially the Tritip one. And that there was breakfast on Saturday morning.

Speaking of breakfast I did try your breakfast burrito last Saturday. It was delicious. I loved the chipotle cream sauce that went with it. I tried to get one of your decedent pancakes but they had run out of the batter. I will have to get there earlier next Saturday.

One more thing: I had a cup of the Chicken poblano today. SO GOOD. I would get it again. Can’t wait to try your...

I have erased my previous (negative) review of this restaurant. It was unfair, undeserved, and ignorant. I'm old and old fashioned and I really don't like a lot of the whole new age silliness, like kale salads and such. But, I had a burger here yesterday because my patient wife wanted to try the restaurant. She had a steak salad. I still hated the feta cheese (because it doesn't belong in a steak salad) but the meat itself was perfectly cooked. I'd have perfered iceberg lettuce - perhaps someday that could be an option. My burger, the "gypsy" was very good. The fry's when hot and fresh are also very good. We had a small hiccup with our order and the man - I think a manager/supervisor/owner maybe?? (He has a beard) could not have handled it better. You could tell he wasn't "acting" he really cared. So, though there are many 'foofoo' items on the menu, I apologize for my previous bad review. I was being an ignorant jerk. I recommend this restaurant and will return again myself. I still give a poor rating on Atmosphere because the music is way way to loud. I know loud is "trendy" but businesses need to understand that for Seniors and Veterans, especially Combat Veterans (of which I am all 3 of these) music that loud actually hurts. So, though I will return with my wife, it probably won't be as often as it would be if the music was...

i work next door to Cubby's so ive been watching this place being built from the ground up and ive now been able to go inside and take a look for myself. I know cubby's is a northern utah staple and im glad to see that they are expanding to down here in st george!

Day one impressions: More people than i expected waiting outside before they were open which is great to see that there is already an itch for this place to thrive here. Even with it being busy it was fast, and wait times were a breeze. Food: I ended up ordering the ti tip sandwich with rosemary fries for the side. Its hard to get tri tip cooked and marinated just right that it doesnt taste bad or rubbery. Thankfully, this place KILLS it with the tri tip! Not only was the flavor exceptional but it was SO TENDER!!! Dont forget about the fries either they were crispy and the rosemary flavor was light and not overpowering at all. Atmosphere & Service: Walking into the resturant its nice and i mean its lively in there and it has a lot of open window space for natural lighting and it does wonders with how they have that place set up!

overall, if you have never been to this place or have neven even hear of it until recently (just like me) its without a doubt worth the time energy to visit this place and try out the amazing food and enjoy the...

Cubby's offers a tasty mix of burgers, fries, salads, bowls, shakes, and cookies, with a healthy twist. If you're looking for a slightly lighter flavor, you'll enjoy Cubby's. Plus, you get to choose between single, double, and triple patties! The Houdini burger had a rich flavor, and was not too greasy. The rosemary and sweet potato fries were tasty, and refreshing to have variety. Their various salads and bowls are flavorful, which is a nice option if you're not feeling like a burger. The Bender Bowl was essentially a deconstructed burrito without a tortilla and quite filling. The apple pecan salad was one of my favorites but unfortunately seems to be seasonal. The Huckle Lala shake is super yummy (which I've had more than once)! 😋 There is a larger open area for eating, with booths along the perimeter which offer privacy. The one downside is that they have hard benches in the booths. To make up for this, there are outlets at almost every booth, which may be a plus (if you're needing juice for your devices). A good place for families. And by the way, breakfast is offered only on Saturday mornings.

I've eaten at several Cubby's further north and they were OK but this one was not. I assume the prices have gone up to a ridiculous level in all of them since it's been a year or two since I dined at any of their locations but this just makes me more critical when it comes to the quality and value of the food when it arrives. The price of the sandwiches had gone up at least 50% since my last visit, which doesn't make me happy but isn't the reason for the bad review. I understand that Bidenomics is hurting us all but if you want people to spend their dwindling eat-out budget at your establishment, at least keep the quality of your offering at the top of the spectrum. If I'm spending into the high teens for a sandwich that used to be around $10, don't give me one with a crumbly, dried out bun and meat that is overcooked and dry. "Dry" was definitely the theme of this meal. Even the fries were tiny, dried out shards of potato. We spent a lot of money to come away pretty disappointed and we won't be back

First time visiting this new restaurant. Family said it was some of the best fries they have ever had. So I had to try it myself. We tried the tri tip big dog sandwich and the cockadoodle with rosemary and sweet potato fries. First things first. This is a farm to table establishment and the food is said to be fresh and helping the local farmers. That being said it isn’t cheap! High quality ingredients. This is an amazing idea and love supporting local businesses. But even better the menu is said to change based on the season and what is in stock! The restaurant is a fun atmosphere and there was a line from the moment we walked in. Dozens of workers running around making food, cleaning up food and helping guests. The food itself was truly amazing. The bbq tri tip sandwich was high quality beef and the secret sauce was amazing. The sweet potato fries and rosemary were some of the best fries I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this place! Great food, great staff.
