Today I ordered the Shrimp Your Way with four selections, the shrimp and scallops parmesan scampi, the shrimp linguini Alfredo, and two fried options, the Parrot Isle jumbo coconut shrimp and the crispy dragon shrimp. On the positive side: The waitress was efficient and helpful, promptly refilling my iced tea glass whenever it got low, bringing more cheddar bay biscuits right after I'd ask, and was overall friendly and pleasant; the food was full of flavor and made for an enjoyable meal, and had a lot of variety among the four I'd chosen. On the negative side: I'd looked carefully at the online menu this morning and decided ahead of time what four dishes I wanted, and there was a noticeable difference between the menu photos and what was put in front of me. And that difference was in the portion size: The photo showed at least five or six shrimp for each, with the two bowl dishes (scampi and linguini) full of food, but what I was served had four of each of the fried shrimp and the shrimp/scallops scampi was not what I would call "full", although the shrimp linguini was (and the coconut shrimp fell short of "jumbo"). Also, the baked potato was one of the smallest I'd ever seen in a restaurant, and although I ordered it "loaded", it was far from it. The total tab, with tip, came to $39, a bit much considering I did not receive a commensurate amount of food. It seems a priority of the chef was to dial-down the portion size to a minimal level, tolerable for a petite lady but seriously lacking for a full-size adult male. I've bought two-pound bags of shrimp (40-50 to a bag) at Albertsons for $10, or about $0.20 - 0.25 per shrimp. I'm sure Red Lobster can get shrimp for much less, so it might cost an extra $1 - 1.50 to have the fried selections set at eight shrimp rather than four. For a dinner costing $25, a small increase in costs is, to me, outweighed by providing the customer with truly sizeabIe portions that will lead to frequent return visits, as well as strong recommendations to friends. As for me, I may visit Red Lobster again someday, but it won't be...
Read moreThis only deserves 1 star because my coconut shrimp was really good. We came here for my dad's birthday...It took our waiter 15 minutes to come over and introduce himself and take our drink order and we made him take our food order too because we knew what we wanted. 10 minutes later, he brought our drinks and salads at the same time. All of the salads were under dressed... there was literally no dressing on them and the lettuce in the Caeser salad was brown. And we had to ask to get the cheddar bay biscuits. We weren't even 3 bites into our salads when he brought out the soup and biscuits. He only brought 3 biscuits for the 4 of us. So our soups got cold while we ate our salad... We only had a few spoonfuls of soup and we're done because they were all too cold to eat. 3 of us had the lobster bisque and my dad did the clam chowder... Seems they don't put anything in the clam chowder because it was all liquid... No clams or potatoes... We asked for more biscuits and drinks. 15 minutes later he brought our entrees, biscuits and drinks. While my and my mom's coconut shrimp was good, my dad and husband said the shrimp Alfredo was bland and the noodles were mushy. And not 5 minutes into our dinner our waiter brought out the desserts. The brownies had completely melted the ice cream before we finished our dinner. This was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my dad... We all agreed that this was the worst service and food we have ever gotten here! We will never come back to...

The QR code i got with me E-Gift card wasnt working so an employee went to the back to put it in manually . He wrote down my E Gift card info and went to the back. Never saw him throw away the paper with my gift card info. I wish i kept my receipt because on the receipt it showed my balance . I spent $31 and had about $18 left . when i picked up the food on mother’s day, i was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived exactly at 30 minutes. When they told me it would he ready. Upon arrival they told me it would be another 30 minutes. I went in the very next day to try the endless shrimp and spend the rest of what was in my card which i assumed was there . Apparently it was emptied out. Went from $50-0 when i only spent $31. Not good . Either one of the employees saw the paper with my info on it and used it or someone took my info with e gift card.or they tipped themselves the rest of the money on my card. Something fishy happened with my card. Update:i found receipt for proof. i called gift card customer service and according to them, the full amount was used that day! Which is BS because i...
