I have always had a wonderful experience at this Freddy's location, until tonight. It was honestly embarrassing for the crew to preform like this when it was relatively slow for dinner. 3 cars in the drive thru queue and one person ordering at the counter when I went inside to resolve my issues. The lady working the window could not get my order right, she somehow managed to forget one of my burgers when packing my bag, and had to ask multiple times what kind of sauce I wanted. I upgraded my meal to a large and paid extra for cheese curds instead of fries. They somehow managed to give me less than the last time I ordered a regular side of cheese curds. They forgot the bacon that I paid extra for on my burger... On top of this all, when I went in the lobby to get my missing burger. They knew that they had messed up as the burger was sitting next to the grill waiting for me to request it. Two of the men working the counter gave me an awful side eye, as they clearly didn't even want to bother aiding the situation. The woman who helped me let me know that they knew of the issue as the lady working the window just packed my bag like they were working through a rush. What a horrid experience. I would have understood the mistake if I had ordered during a dinner rush or if the team was understaffed. I honestly do not think I will be returning, even though I regularly eat at Freddy's as the only fast food joint that I choose to visit. I can not believe that I paid almost $50 for this awful treatment. I can't even expect decent service anymore when choosing to pay extra for a premium fast...
Read moreFreddys is a difficult to categorize food chain. Went yesterday for the first time. Checked the online menu earlier. Ordered what I thought was a burger or rather a steakburger. What I didn't realize is that the steakburger is nothing more than a hamburger bun with a couple of 2mm thick leaves of meat - aka the steak - mustard and onions and cheese. I declined the cheese and the onions were deleted for reasons unknown. So I was thinking lettuce tomato pickle you know the things on typical burgers.
Nothing. Not even mayo. I will say the 2 steak so called pieces that look manufactured were tasty fried in salt or ? The bun was good. And the quarter tsp dab of mustard on one side was ok. But this is not a burger of any kind.
They only have Pepsi products.
The fries were ok, extremely thin maybe 3mm square like shoestring fries which I haven't seen in a long time.
I phoned them halfway through the meal and explained what I thought was missing. But no I got what I ordered minus a shred of onion. If I wanted an actual burger I should have ordered the California style. Which of course is the Utah style and every other state name style. It's the 'Steakburger' that doesn't fit.
Order at your own peril. Or drive 3 blocks and get a Whopper.
My combo was $8.17...
Read moreFreddys never disappoints. On the contrary it’s always fresh and delicious. The burgers, fries, onion rings, cheese curds etc are always fresh.
I’ll always recommend this food here. What made me write this review is their customer service. All of their employees are extremely friendly, helpful, and polite! But in my last visit, I had one of the best interactions which is worth mentioning.
I wanted to try a different flavor of shake. I usually go for the Oreo double trouble. I asked the young man who was helping me what he would recommend and he told me that the strawberry dreamcake is his favorite. I told him I was thinking about trying that. Since it’s his favorite shake, he made it himself and let me tell you I loved it. It was one of the best strawberry shakes I’ve ever had.
I was extremely impressed at the fact that Gabriel wanted to show me what his favorite shake is and he made it himself to make sure that it was the way he likes it since it’s also his favorite. I hope someone from Freddie’s frozen custard and steak burgers, he’s reading this. You have an amazing employee in Gabriel. His manager gave me a thumbs up for shaking this young man’s hand and thanking him for his...
