I am a home Depot guy, spend lots of money and time. We are doing a whole house remodel, my pregnant wife went to the home Depot in Washington Utah and bought $3,000 of fencing, fencing wood, treated wood, brackets, etc when she went to check out Ladonna the cashier told my wife and her mother if she signs up for the credit card she will get $1,000 off her purchase so of course she said okay, when she did everything ladonna said it's only $100 off the price, my wife told her nevermind I don't want it ladonna replied to my "wife too bad it's too late" when the manager came over (they didn't get his name) told her that "it was too late to just cancel a credit card and send a letter to the credit bureau". When she went to pay she asked why she didn't get the bulk price and they told her "that's is only for pro customers" (which I have a pro number and have never heard that before) my wife didn't realize this so she didn't fight with them. I have never been to a home Depot that has asked for my pro number to get bulk price especially when I'm spending over $3000 at one time. Makes me wonder if home Depot is going to start treating there small customers like this, as if they don't matter and cannot save any money when they spend a lot of money, perhaps it's because it was my pregnant wife and her mother that they didn't give her the price being women, i know if I would have went in there I would have received the bulk price without a single question asked. The home Depot on sunset in St George have been very helpful, courteous, you get the bulk price with them, it's a further drive for some people but strongly suggest to go to that one so you can be treated like you matter. Like I said I really like home Depot but treating my pregnant wife and her mother like this makes me feel like it's time to spendy money at lows. Mike the lumber manger was...
Read moreIf you have ordered a new appliance, then you understand it's standard procedure to block out four hours of the day to wait for it. That being said, up until the past two weeks straight we've had good experiences. However, I ordered a new fridge, and it was supposed to be delivered on December 31st. But because it wasn't in stock like the website originally showed, my order got cancelled without my knowledge, and I had to call to reschedule for January 7th. However, it was rescheduled for the 8th. Then on the 8th it was rescheduled for the 9th. Then on the 9th it was rescheduled for the 13th. Then when I called and talked to Elizabeth on the phone, she was helpful and gave me a $100 refund from my purchase, she made sure to reschedule on January 10th, and she put in a DET so I could get a different company to deliver. I also requested for some help to get the new appliance inside because I'm physically disabled. She promised me that I would get help. Then comes January 10th. The delivery drivers gave us a time block but did not tell us when they would be coming like others have in the past. And when they dropped off the new appliance I waved to get their help, but they made eye contact with me and immediately packed up, turned around and drove away. Then I found out that they had signed that I got it despite needing a customer's signature, my signature.
With as many days as my family and I had to block out, that's time that we had to postpone much needed appointments and classes for our kids. Without help moving the new appliance in, I hurt my back. Given this unfortunate set of experiences, I will not be so quick to consider Home Depot for...
Read moreJust wow. I bought a washing machine from this location in October. The washing machine broke 6 weeks ago. I did all the right steps and contacted the company Whirlpool because it as a 1 year warranty. Whirlpool said they would look for a provider to fix it, but it would take 7 days. On the 7 day they called and said there was no provider to fix the washing machine because I live in a rural area, but that they would need 7 more days to look for a secondary provider. After waiting a total of 21 days I contacted whirlpool again. Was told that my claim was still âopenâ and that this was strange but a supervisor would call me. Itâs been another 5 days and the supervisor still as not called me. At this point I contacted the Home Depot store in Washington Utah where I bough the washing machine. My receipt clearly states that I have til October 1 2023 to return the washing machine. I asked to speak with the store manager after exhausting all avenues. The store manager said there was no way my receipt said that, and I asked if he said I was lieing. He then got an attitude, and then said he would look into the issue and give me a call back. This never happened. So now a blue collar family of 3 kids and a pregnant wife have been left without a washing machine for 6 weeks with no help from both the store and whirlpool. We have to drive 45 minutes to our parents house on the reservation just to do our laundry. I have easily spent over $10,000 at Home Depot in this one year. The lack of care or sympathy from these two company is something out of this world, and a company that claims to be for the...
