Love love love the idea of the 3-4 course meal. It gave our guests and ourselves time to chat and visit. Anticipate 15-20 minutes between course meals. Food was F💣 amazing! I got one of something that I would not normally get .the Ricotta has a sweet and savory amazing and surprising taste. DO IT ! No need for the honey comb unless you want the experience. The spinach salad was ok but sure hit the spot. The sea bass with the side of lobster tail was spot on. Serving it in a bowl didn’t make sense since trying to cut the lobster tail almost resulted with my dish on the floor. My drink was a coconut cream with infused pineapple rum . Soooooo freaken good but more of a desert drink. So I asked for a Mai tai to back off the cream. Quickly our waiter responded with “we don’t do Mai Tai “. Hm? Ok . Possibly a suggestion of a drink that would be close, that they did do? Seemed pretty straight forward yet left me confused with why not up sell me on another drink ? It’s all good . I chose not to get another drink. But I did choose to get the chocolate moose which was aaaaamazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on the food for sure . You truly get what you for so don’t complain unless you want cheap food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service was almost there. But could use some attention. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ atmosphere was nice. I struggle with low light conditions so maybe a little brighter would make things slightly more inviting.

Hmm... we were looking for a nice dinner out and this hit the spot! It is down town and easy to walk from most parking spots (rent from St. John Car Rental and you can park in their back lot for free!) The staff was very friendly, happy and had great customer service and the restaurant was clean. Our waiter, Alec, was great. He informed us of specials, gave us time to look over the menu, didn't check in too often like some pesky waiters and was very professional and helpful when trying to select a dish. Our food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. I had the calamari and crab cake and both were fantastic. The crab cake had almost no filler and the calamari was lightly breaded and not over/under cooked. My wife had the ricotta dish which was amazing but she ate it so quickly, I only got one tiny bite. Our party of four with two dishes each and a couple glasses of wine/ bottles of beer and was about $175. Not bad for very quality food! My only complaint would be that some of their seafood is not local but I don't know what's native in their area and what's available logistically. Can't dock them on that as everything was amazing. Check it out!

I'm giving this fine establishment all of my stars, an excellent night out here for my wife and I and the food was so amazing. A three course venue is offered and each course was simply new and vibrant. All of this was well executed by the fantastic staff. Behind the scenes the chef is brilliant. Offering an exquisite display with tastes that force you to slow down and just enjoy each moment. The atmosphere was really superb for our last evening in St John. The "house made ricotta" was such a great surprise, unexpected I must say ! This was a phenomenal blend of tastes... To the staff- Thank you Mike and team for making our experience wonderful and a perfect grand finale to other great restaurants we visited in St John's.. Yet Extra Virgin Bistro was our favorite restaurant we enjoyed during our stay. We will be back... to visit St.John again and also to re-visit "Extra Virgin Bistro" so we can share this experience with some friends. When we return, we'd love to meet the chef!

We come here year after year visiting St. John’s ! It has always been our number one until this year! We were here for my daughter’s wedding staying at Solenborg estate with the wedding party. Went there as a private celebration before the wedding for our side of the family, a party of 14 plus. Didn’t realize that it has switched to fixed price for all 4-5 courses. Two of us were not feeling well (one for medical reasons and the other was jet lagged from flying over 24hours and wanted a lighter faire). Was told by a very rude, indignant male server that there was nothing for him to offer us! We offered to pay for the full fixed price menu and split and were told , NO WAY! They promptly took our forks away, so ok! We are not scammers or those kin of people that do that! We only wanted the salad portion and 1st course of pasta and were willing to pay for the entire dinner without serving the main course and willing to pay for it all ! We were told no way! Stayed for the conversation with our party but had to leave and go to mangos to get a salad and shrimp. Ate a nice salad there and split a shrimp…..only to have the waitress tell us that extra virgin offers ala’carte at the bar????? Really a party of 15 plus and he could not offer us another option?? Don’t think we will ever be back. Should have asked for an owner or manager but didn’t want make waves. Big loss for them as we always visit the nicest and spend lots of money! ...

Food was absolutely amazing! Definitely the best place I’ve eaten on the island and a lot of places I’ve eaten in the US. Jenna, our waitress, was fantastic as well. She was kind and attentive and was just the best. The only reason for the lack of 5 stars is the woman who was hosting. Our group made a reservation a month ago for 10 at 7:45pm. We called ahead at around 6pm to let them know we were in the area and see if they could seat us sooner but we were told we needed to wait. Our group was fine with that and got a drink down the street and walked around. At 7:35 our group should up and checked in with the hostess. She said, “like I said on the phone, you need to wait until 7:45.” We said okay and waited outside until 7:45. When we tried to check in then, we were told, “we know you’re here. You need to wait and we’ll come get you. You’re being snippy.” We continued to wait even when it started raining for a few minutes and then overheard the hostess tell the party of 3 next to us “do you want to go over there and tell that table to leave?” when they asked about the wait. The couple who were taking our group of 10 to this restaurant said they have never had a bad experience with the other hosts but this was ridiculous. Everything else was amazing! But that hostess was unnecessarily rude and should not work in hospitality if she is just going to be...
