I paid for a family meal deal of eight tenders which came with four biscuits and two large sides. I then ordered an extra side of 4 biscuits. They did not have enough biscuits for my extra 4 count side order. They stated they only had 3 biscuits for the side order, so because I had already paid, they said they would give me an extra side which I said fine and that I would take a mashed potatoes and gravy. My order should’ve consisted of the 8 chicken tenders 4 biscuits that came with my meal and two large sides and then the 3 of the 4 biscuits from the extra side order. Which would have been a total of 7 biscuits. When I got home, I only had three biscuits in total, instead of 7. I have 5 people in my family so that was not good enough. I called up to the location and spoke to the manager, I assume she was the manager, and tried to explain the situation and she said because they gave me an extra mashed potatoes and gravy that I never should’ve gotten the biscuits. I tried to explain to her that the extra mashed potatoes and gravy was not to replace the four biscuits side order but I was told was because they only had 3 of the 4 biscuits in the side order. The manager, or whomever I spoke to, said I needed to bring the extra mashed potatoes and gravy back up to the restaurant in order to receive my 4 biscuits. I explained I was already home and I lived 20 minutes away. I was going to be back in the area later and wanted to pick up the missing 4 of the 7 biscuits that I should have had. She then hang up on me while I was trying to explain the situation. This is the worst customer service that I’ve ever experienced in my life. I paid $44 for fast food and didn’t even receive what I paid for nor was the extra mashed potatoes and gravy that they gave me equivalent in price of the four extra biscuits that I had ordered, so I still overpaid and didn’t get the food...
Read moreUpdate: My last review was 5 years ago but this is the WORST KFC ever. Over an hour before they closed had already packed up the food in plastic containers. The sides were cold, chicken was old & soggy. They do not care. Don’t waste your money.
The young man who took our order was very nice & entered it correctly. However, when we got home we discovered our order was incorrect. We ordered 2 Big Boxes & the food was stuffed into 2 small boxes, we had no biscuits in either meal, my husband wanted a breast & 2 thighs, and got a breast & 2 wings. I ordered extra gravy & did not get it.
I called the store to let them know & spoke with, Lucy who did not really seem to care at all. Lucy informed me if I wanted to come back up to the store right then, she would replace my order, but if not, there was nothing she could do. I did not want to drive all the way back to the store & asked if she could just replace it at a later time, she refused. I explained how unhappy I was about this & she informed me that this was their policy & that mistakes happen. I told her I understood that, but they should make it right. She refused, saying they would only if I came back right then, & kept repeating the same thing. She would not let me speak, & informed me that they were a franchise & not corporate, so they followed their own policy. Frustrated, I hung up. Lucy then called me back, told me she was tired & had been there since 8AM, & she did not like me hanging up on her, & that she could do the same, & then hung up on me. Read moreI just got back from a trip to this KFC. I went thru the drive-thru and ordered 2 3-pc boxes, both sides mashed potatoes & gravy with a large side of cole slaw. I asked for and paid for one of them to be one leg and two breasts. Typically they contain one each, leg, thigh & breast. I dislike the thighs specifically and ordered my meal accordingly. When they gave me the bag I checked the contents and found that they had shorted me two sides of potatoes & gravy. When I brought it to their attention it seemed as though I was bothering the young man as I felt he gave me a lil attitude when he asked for the bag back. I had to further explain that both boxes should have two sides and both of mine only have one. They rectified that issue and I left.
When I returned home, I found that not only did they not give me the chicken pieces and paid for, but the order actually contained 1 leg and 2 thighs in both boxes... the exact opposite of what I ordered.
This was my first visit to this particular KFC location and as far as I'm concerned it will be my last.
I don't understand what is happening in St Louis these days, but the quality of workers inrestaurants is quite poor! I seem to have a problem with my order consistently being wrong and/or getting attitude from workers. I guess paying them a "living wage" isn't quite...
