Arby's — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

First of all I am giving this location a 5 and yes a fast food restaurant can be a 5 in the fast food category:-) We were dining in to cool off and get fueled and rehydrated after a long day at the St Pete Grand Prix. The dining room was completely empty except for us and very clean, I used the restroom while I was there and it was very clean as well.

I placed my order with a very friendly manager who smiled, was very friendly....she was a great example of how an order should be taken while dining in at a fast food joint. I then watched as the onion rings I had just ordered were freshly placed in the frier. Even though they were freshly cooking my onion rings they came out super fast along with my double roast beef sandwich. Sandwich was delicious as always and onion rings were better than expected (I had never tried Arby's onion rings before) they were big, super crispy and delicious! The onion rings were of the quality you would expect at a sit down restaurant. They did not have a specific onion ring dip which would have been great but ranch worked out fine.

Boyfriend also enjoyed his food, I ate some of his curly fries and they were freshly cooked and...

So I don't usually leave reviews unless restaraunts give me a reason too, whether good or bad. This time however obviously it was bad. I'm an Uber eats driver, and I pulled up to this restaurant as you would to pick up an order, and I also had to pee. I was walking up to the doors when a nice younger black woman with a headset on told me that they are drive thru only. And so I asked them "well can I use the restroom?". And she was going to let me, but the Karen boss, more on her later, apparently didn't want me to. So as I pulled to the drive thru, annoyed and confused I realized that there is literally No customers here, not in the drive thru NOR the parking lot. So after this White Karen I assume to be manager was handing my delivery food to me with a rude and disrespectful look on their face I saw that it looked to be full staffed. And I asked why are you guys closing your doors with literally zero customers that makes no sense. With no response. I left and decided to leave this review. I wonder why they have no customers there, couldn't possibly...

Yoooo don't sleep on arbys on 5th n. The food came out made to order and hot. I got there around 4:30 and made their happy hour special. When the gentleman provided my total at the speaker, something didn't add up right. When I got to the window, I asked to confirm my order and discovered one of my sliders didn't get added. But he added it then. He did it with style and grace! He can definitely multi task at the drive thru window which is needed. He walked away to get my food and I heard words of appreciation to other team members. And by my observation, looks like a positive work environment. Which is definitely hard to find now a days. Food came out delicious, hot and correct. And kudos for the happy hour specials. You can taste the Turkey, chicken and roast beef sliders for 1.19. And the shakes and cookies for like .50 cents more. Not bad!! Keep up the great work dynamic. The outcome is good tasting food with great customer service! And the building was wrapped around the building. That should speak volumes of the quality of food...
