Arts Cafe — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

I popped in on a whim, and I think I have a new favorite cafe in the area! I spent $22 to get lunch for a friend and I. The service was spectacular (a guard opened the door each time I entered!) , and the man at the counter was so polite. The food was great. It’s standard Western European cafe fare, with a good variety of options. I had multiple options as a vegetarian, but there were no vegan options I could spot. I ended up grabbing an affogato and an egg salad sandwich. The sandwich could’ve used more spices, as it wasn’t super flavorful. The pastries were very nice. This airy cafe is inside the lobby area of the museum, allowing you to sip your coffee, enjoy a well-made croissant while taking in the amazing spiral staircase looming above you as you admire the wood work and details of the inside atrium. All of the security guards are very polite, and would love to have a wonderful chat with you as you take in the sites. The coffee bar has nice equipment and is very aesthetic.
