Incomplete Order and Unacceptable Service
Total dissatisfaction with involving an order placed through DoorDash from Churchās Chicken on the evening of Saturday, June 28th.
We placed an order at approximately 9:00 PM, which included the following items: ⢠3-piece chicken meal ⢠Sweet tea ⢠Fries ⢠Jalapeño Bombers ⢠Baked mac & cheese ⢠Sauces
The order did not arrive until 10:40 PM, nearly two hours later. Upon receipt, we were extremely disappointed to find that more than half of the items were missing. What we actually received was: ⢠2 pieces of chicken ⢠Fried okra ⢠5 biscuits
When we inquired with the DoorDash driver, we were informed that the store claimed they were āclosingā and that this was all they had available. This explanation was unacceptable, especially considering: We placed the order well before the posted closing time (9:00 PM vs. an 11:00 PM listed closing time). There was no communication from either DoorDash or the restaurant regarding the missing items or substitution. We were charged in full for an order that was barely half complete.
This experience reflects extremely poor service, lack of communication, and an unacceptable disregard for customersā time and money. It is unacceptable for a business to take payment for goods and then fail to deliver them based on inaccurate claims about store hours or availability.
At this point, we are highly dissatisfied and will not be ordering from Churchās Chicken or through DoorDash again unless this matter is addressed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe last thing you expect to hear when walking into a fast food restaurant is that theyve run out of chicken, the only thing they are supposed to serve!! I walked in there last night to pick a rather large Uber Eats delivery and the girl working the front counter automatically says, " I have 3 pieces of chicken left and We're Closed"! I advise her I'm there to pick up an Uber order and she yells at me that they have had issues with the uber server all night and they dont have it nor can they fulfil it. It's not what she said but how she said it situation, had she been more pleasant in attitude I wouldnt be typing this review. I had to sit in the parking lot for a solid 10 minutes so I could get Uber support to cancel the order as I already had another one I had picked up and even though this girl told me they were closed she waited almost 15 minutes to even lock the doors, there was another woman in there waiting for her food but she wasn't in there more than 5 mintes after I walked out so why wait so ling to lock the doors if your out of the main item you serve? All I can really say is if I have to go back to this particular location I hope I don't have to deal with tje same person, or even if I do I hope she uses a little more tact in her...

This store needs a trained management team asap as customer service is non-existent. Most customers are completely ignored and about 2 of the staff do all of the work while the other three just stand around trying to look busy or causing drama amongst the staff. It is my local store and my guilty pleasure but I am considering driving twice as far to get my Church's chicken!
While the Staff seem friendly and competent they really need to get a handle on the Panhandling in the parking lot. This is NOT a Drive thru Church's so you must exit your vehicle and get past all the locals who are asking for your cash to get inside. I would think a good manager would make sure this impediment did not occur at his restaurant but maybe the locals are too used to dealing with this kind of shall we say "Local Flavor".
Food is just what you expect from a Church's - one of my guilty pleasures and in my book better than any KFC ever devised.
Just have to make the purchase experience feel...
