McDonald's — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

By far the most unprofessional McDonald's I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I drive for Uber eats and doordash [my time and gas is $$$$]. I had to stand inside for 6 minutes being ignored. The order was right there the entire time. I repeated aloud the order number 4 times to 3 different people behind the counter all of which pretended I didnt even speak. Not only did they ignore my existence they ignored the existence of all of their other customers standing in line.

After being totally ignored i said out loud, "I'm sorry I can't wait anymore my pick up time was for _ which was now 7 minutes ago, this is my order. I'm picking up for _ for doordash." Not until I actually grabbed the bag did they even look at me. It's like before I was invisible. They laughed and jeered at me after I had waited for 7 minutes, ended up grabbing the order that I could clearly see, and one employee said, " oh my God that cracker did not just took that order." Like I was waiting and trying to communicate with them. But no response until after I stepped forward and picked up my customers food. The first sentence out of one of their mouthes was a racial slurr. Talk about classy. This is the first time I have ever experienced thus kind of hatred and meanness at any restaurant EVER, its 2022 people. To quote our president, "Come on man."

Who ever runs this store you need to fire the people who don't want to work and hire those who are attentive and actually care about the customers whose business offers them a job. McDonald's is supposed to love to see us smile right? Not ignore, belittle, and then yell racial slurrs at me for doing both my job and your job for you. Would give 0 stars.

If my rating falls below 4.2 out of 5 I get canceled. This store CLEARLY has some serious issues. 2.9 out of 5. Cancel the employees who can't handle being in a professional fastfood chain that's global with clientele of many different ethnicities. Who knows how many people had to be accosted, demeaned, and hurled other nasty ethnically driven mean spirited comments. If I ever get an order from this restaurant again, I'm not picking up the food period. I will switch apps, I refuse to be subject to that kind of treatment when I'm making billion dollar companies more money and am getting less than minimum wage. I live off tips just like waiters/waitresses, 2.50 a trip without tip. Don't forget gas is 4.25 a gallon so I'm already being extorted at the gas pump.. Would you like a side of racism with...

Finally caved to using App for promised faster service, but WOW ! Such sad disappointment for an American institution. 1. Ordered 33 minutes before picking up at counter. Not ready when arrived. Gave verification number and they the employee yells " need a Big Mac" and " need a double cheeseburger" and waited and waited . 11 minutes after arrival the manager walks out from behind the counter to hand me sack of food and plastic fountain drink cup. I tell him this was 1st time using app and it was not faster nor easier so why would people use the app? The drink fountain spewed foam, not Coca- Cola but foam. There are 10 spickets and only one, the foaming one, was Coca- Cola. Could be wrong but sense tells me you have 2 + of highest use selection, right?. Nope. Manager flushes out foam and hands me cup, Didn't fill it but just hands back cup. So I ask again what's incentive to use the McDonalds app? The reply: " I don't know sir"- sad. Remember when these were examples of training and attempts to service customers? Nwa. Thats gone. But to give em a break deserving or not I tried app at different McDonalds and Nope. Not lovin it. Not at all

Ok. Gave McDonald's app a 2nd try. The iced french vanilla coffee must have been made by 1st- timer as it tasted nothing like the same orders before and see on tag 3rd item from top? That's only place you'll see it cuz they were NOT in the bag. But the real and big concern is that there is no checking or security protocols for pick ups. Anyone, anytime can walk in and take food and walk out or tamper or russle thru all the bags without anyone saying a thing or even noticing you were in and out leaving a wake of food tampering or loss prevention havoc and mayhem. Nope. Upside is I skipped the extended long line of 6 plus customers. Nope. Not using app. Uninstall. Shout out to homeless who need food - you...

I know this location is known for being about the slowest in St Pete. It takes a lot for me to write or complain about anything. I stopped by after driving for a couple hours as I did not want to cook when I got home. My large fries did not look full and I questioned that and they had the audacity to weigh it on a scale instead of topping it off. The management was rude. They had no time for the lobby customers as the drive through was busy. I did address my dismay. No one cared. I got in my car with my to go order and when I got home just a few minutes later, I opened my fish sandwich which was barely on the bun and put it where it should be on the bun. I bit into it and it was like biting into a crouton on the bottom bun. My fries were not done and barely warm from the get go. I called the manager Ray and he was apologetic and offered me free food. I refused as I never complain and take something free. Just asked him to fix the problem. From there I tried to each my Big Mac. WOW!!! Cold. They weighed my fries to try to make me look bad and had no skills in customer service and sent me off with food I would not feed the homeless and yet I paid for it. I will give it to Ray for trying but the 2 front managers were horrible and an embarrassment to this establishment. I don't care who you are or how well you do but no one should be given this type of service nor sub sub par food. It is a slap in the face to anyone that will put up with it. I can go to any one of the beach McDonalds or a nicer neighborhood and I am treated with respect as everyone else is. I am not sure what this place is doing as that neighborhood deserves the same respect as any other. I am not saying it is intentional but it is just wrong. Should be the same quality all around...
