Their food is okay, not bad, but not great. The first time in I was there for two hours. It took over an hour to get food. When the food was almost out, the waiter came to inform us that they had no more mac and cheese for me son, so we had to order something else. Not a big deal, but why tell us at the last minute. Then I got the filet, which was not cooked the way I requested, and mushrooms. I paid extra for the mushroom side. These mushrooms where not good at all, they were the worse mushrooms I have ever had. I love mushrooms. These tasted like they were dipped in someone's Body odor undershirt and pepper added to it.
The second time we got seated quickly and ordered our food. The rolls came out and they were all squished. They looked like someone had taken a rolling pin to them and then served it to us. One even had a big whole in it, like someone stuck their thumb through it. I ordered two appetizers, the onion and the spinach artichoke dip. Then ordered the chicken tenders and Mac and cheese for my son. Waited a little and the waitress comes out to say they don't have the spinach and artichoke dip,(they are always out of something it seems) so I ordered the mozzarella sticks. The food comes the onion is okay, very greasy. The mozzarella sticks are the best thing, but they are kind of hard and over battered. My son took one bit of the Mac and cheese and said it was really gross. I thought he was just being a kid, but I'm like my son likes broccoli, when most kids don't.. So I said it can't be that bad and tried it. It was that bad. He even told the waitress and she didn't even correct it or take it off.
So I gave them two chances, even after the first horrible experience. I probably will...
Read moreWell I would have given a zero but it wouldn’t let me. First of all you should never lie to your customers. We had a party of 8 and were in town for a military graduation and wanted to sit together. We had a military veteran and a newly graduated military man. We were told there were no reservations period and then we were told all of the tables that had napkins with 8 seats were reserved for a large group of regulars. Well that was very confusing. The managers said the owner made those reservations they didn’t and if we wanted to argue about it, we could argue with him. We didn’t want to argue, we just wanted our family to sit together and there were several tables available but we were told that section was closed. Then we questioned it and were treated very rudely by several women claiming to be managers? That was probably a lie too because no manager I have ever known treated customers like they did us today. We ended up sitting 4 to a booth back to back and when we left the round tables that were nicely set and reserved for a group of regulars were still empty. Our waiter was fantastic and was so nice. He made sure we had everything we needed and he checked on us often. The food was great but the management was horrible and we were lied to by 3 different women. This was unacceptable on every level. For that reason, I can find a steak just as good or better at a restaurant where people don’t lie. Colton’s should hire people who have the proper management training because they don’t definitely don’t have any at the Fort Leonard Wood...
Read moreI would like to start by saying that I just left the restaurant feeling as if I shouldn't return. I recently ordered a spinach artichoke dip with a peach tea and my total was 13.00 and some change. My dip was filled all the way to the top (literally) a couple of days ago. When I went to order the same thing today, the first person I talked to was really sweet but went to ask about the size I had received recently. I was met by a really rude condescending waitress who walked off on me and just started serving tables. After just standing there for a bit, I asked to speak to a manager who I showed my previous purchase to and explained that I wanted the same amount I had last time but was met with that I had to be double charged. And that everything was preportioned (which didn't seem truthful) Look, I have waitressed as well and have taken customer's orders. I have never ever treated any customer the way I was treated today. I'm disappointed because the way the waitress scoffed at me when I tried to explain the situation to her just was unnecessary and then just walked off to help other tables. I wasn't rude, I never raised my voice, I was polite. I could have understood if I went in there being disrespectful and just a hot mess but I wasn't. The manager could have understood and made things right so that I may be a repeat customer especially after seeing my receipt. She could have looked it up...
