Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Salina

We come here very often. We enjoy the food and have for many years, being Salina natives. I think anyone would agree that the prices are high for sandwiches and chips, but worth it when you get to enjoy quality Sandwiches! Tonight, unfortunately, we were left absolutely speechless. If a manager or owner would like to email me, I'd appreciate it. I'm sure you'd like to know specifics. For those of you looking to visit this place, make sure to check your food before you leave, and don't expect it to be fixed if the teenagers are running the place at the time. We were told "Well I wasnt the one who did that" when we asked why our drinks were half empty. Then the kid walked away. Just leaving us standing there with our mouths hanging open. This was just a small part of the terrible service we encountered today. I'm feeling sorry for the owners of this business. These kids are making thier very well established dinner seem like a high school nacho stand. They deserve more respect, and so do thier customers.

UPDATE: We visited this store again on a busy Saturday afternoon in September. We got great service and the people working were very informative and helpful. We specialized our order many ways and the staff performed perfectly. I'm changing my review to a 4 star and we will definitely be back to enjoy our favorite sandwiches! Ordered 2 Pizzas

Pizza 1 - Ordered Double Cheese Pizza Received Pepperoni Pizza

Sent Pizza 1 back they took the pepperoni off added cheese put it back in the oven and gave it back to me I'm like oh well we like well done pizza crust. Took a bite realized it didn't even have Marinara Sauce in-between the cheese and crust went to the same person we ordered from and returned the first pizza to and she says yeah they ran out not sauce and were thawing it out. Then why did you sale me a pizza and now we are just like this is a ridiculousness. So now I've paid the entire amount to for a pizza that is minus the one thing that makes it a pizza the sauce without the sauce I've just paid for CHEESY BREAD STICKS well I don't remember ordering those because I didn't. So absolutely did not fix the issue with the order I got bread sticks in place of a Pizza. Thanks 👍

Great food....if you ever get it. This is literally the most disorganized and slowest Schlotzsky's on the planet. I have always waited for my food there, but on multiple occasions they have just forgotten to make my order. Today was the worst, I literally waited 25 min and asked twice about my order. Other people were getting their orders, eating and leaving! All I ordered was the lunch special! One person asked for my sandwich to be made a couple of times but there was no follow up or follow through! After 25 min of my soup sitting there and getting cold on the counter waiting for a sandwich to come that was never coming I just asked them to cancel my order. The manager knew they were in the wrong and didn't ask me to wait any longer, but also didn't offer any apology. Very unprofessional. They Wasted my lunch break and lost a loyal customer.
