Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Salisbury

My fiancé and I experienced terrible service here today. We throughly understand how hard it is to find someone to work right now which is another reason we did not reach out to management while at the restaurant about this problem, but is does need to be made aware.

Our servers name was Danielle, she barely greeted us and when she did all she asked was for our drinks- no name, no starting off with anything (I only found out her name from the receipt because she didn’t have a name tag) It took a decent time to receive our drinks after that, we asked for bread and also ordered a blooming onion. We received the blooming onion 10 mins later but not the bread. She told us and the table behind us that every time she went to get bread it was all taken but I don’t understand why because the place was DEAD. It took her 20-25 just to come back to our table (she didn’t deliver the onion personally) to take our order (we were not looking for this long, we knew quickly what we wanted but she never returned to ask) upon ordering I asked a simple question regarding sides and she was “snarky” about the answer. Our onion was not cut right or even done, it was harder to eat considering this. Time goes by, still no bread or even service being offered… then all of a sudden our entrees are out. She threw the plates on the table and just walked away without asking the usual “need anything else?” I had to speak up loudly and ask for A1 sauce and even our bread.

Upon returning with bread, she brings 1 small cup of A1 for TWO people? My fiancé said A1 please she replied there it is, once again snarky like. She did not return to our table the rest of the time until she dropped off a check.

I will say we try not to cause conflict especially knowing the circumstances today, I could understand if it was busy or rush hour but the restaurant was dead…

I gave a 1 star because at least the steak was great, the baked potatoes weren’t even good.

We are a Longhorn family, but wanted to venture out and try something new… I won’t return unless I am given reason...

Went here for an early dinner before heading to the movies we were seated right away and our server came over almost immediately. We placed our drink order and then looked over the menus before our server returned for us to place our food order I ordered the outbacker which was basically a burger and fries and hubby had a steak now from what I could tell hubby's order was fine and while my fries were really good my burger was dry. Now the burger I ordered came with some sort of a spicy onion topping and mustard I didn't want either of these so I asked that they be left off and for ketchup to be added instead well I guess that was forgotten about because when our food came there was nothing on my burger but the burger the bread the lettuce and tomato now our server or any other server for that matter was ghost in the area where we were sitting until we were almost done with our meal and I imagine I could have gotten up and went and asked just any employee to grab me some ketchup but I didn't and our drink order which was water was not refilled at all so I ended up giving hubby some of my water so he could wash down the rest of his meal now when our server did finally reappear and asked if everything was ok I kindly reminded him that I asked for ketchup for my burger to which he then apologizes and ask if I would still like for him to go and get me some well seeing as how I literally only had two bites left I responded nope. I will say this the service was not tip worthy service at all but guess what a tip was...

I visited this restaurant after my homecoming, and I am giving one star only because you have to at least give that. Honestly, the service was the worst and is not deserving of any stars. We were seated about 5:00pm and waited for more than 40 minutes. We had two drinks that should have contained alcohol, but I am certain that it was just coke and lemonade. After watching several customers come and go long after we were seated and had ordered our food, we flagged our waitress down to find out where was our order. To her surprise, she was also confused as to why we did not have our food and several customers had their food before we got ours. We asked her to check on it and she later returned and stated it was going to be a bit longer. We then asked her to get a manager...when he came to the table, he offered no reason as to ok why we did not have our meals and other tables around us did. He did not appear apologetic at all but stated that our food would be right out. The restaurant was not that busy and we only waited a few minutes before being seated. After waiting about 10 more minutes, we decided to leave. We did pay for the watered down mixed drinks when we should not have.

I would not encourage anyone to eat at this restaurant and to take a stand against mediocrity. If you are a paying customer, regardless of who you are, you should be treated as if your support is appreciated. We did not go to the restaurant to get anything they were not supposed to do.....we went there to eat. That’s...
