Del Taco — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

I have been coming to this del taco for many years and it's always been decent. Lately, they have been messing my food up on purpose. I say on purpose because I went there a few nights ago, 4/10/25. I got a bean burrito. All I asked for was extra red sauce and sour cream. The first burrito was just beans and cheese, no sauce at all, no sour cream. I called the manager, he told me they would remake it and offered me a free drink or churros for my trouble. I went right back, the manager was "apologetic" but not really. He gave me a free drink and my remade burrito. I left assuming it was made correctly. It was made exactly the same as the first one. Plain beans and cheese. I don't know why they think this is funny but if you're not Hispanic, beware of this location, they will mess your food up ON PURPOSE. Needless to say, I will...

I've never been a big fan of Del Taco, but this most recent experience has completely changed my opinion of the brand for the better!

My friend and I were visiting from out of state for a music festival and found ourselves in an unfamiliar area with very few options to eat after a long day. We arrived shortly before closing, yet were welcomed in with a smile by the Manager Eva. We are so thankful that Eva and her staff were willing to take care of us even at such an inconvenient time.

The food we enjoyed was fresh, fairly priced and very satisfying, especially after a long day in the sun. This comforting meal was a memorable and positive footnote to our trip.

Hello, I was purchasing two fish tacos, two medium drinks and two flat bread steak tacos. As I was leaving there were two homeless people on the patio, they began yelling things at us trying to get free food and continued to yell at me as I drove down the street because I did not acknowledge him. I called the store to inform them of the loitering guests and all the employee had to say to me was “ok”, this raises a huge safety concern for me as a real paying customer. The man who was yelling at me was only a few feet away from my open window, and all your employee has to say was “ok” and “thanks for calling”.
