(THIS REVIEW IS FOR CORPORATE CAFÉ RIO) Placed order on app, said it “sorry amigo your order failed”, checked recent orders no activity shown, entered entire order again and placed order again successfully, checked email, showed two orders, called store phone number and selected update/cancel my order extension, told girl who helped me what happened and provided her both order numbers from my email (even though the app didn’t show any recent orders), she said the first order didn’t go through and only the second did. Upon arriving to the store, the manager Gabby said she received two orders and couldn’t refund me for one of them and could only offer points. I said I didn’t want points and wanted a refund to my original form of payment which was a gift card. She said to call the call center as only they could help. Upon calling the call center I spoke to the same support agent who also offered points as the first solution, and I declined. I asked to speak to a manager and waiting 15 minutes before the call disconnected. I’m calling in this morning and speaking to Bella who also is trying to get a manager and after 19 minutes on hold was disconnected. Second call on hold for 15 minutes and counting. Read moreOh brother, this place is beyond over-rated. The only reason I've had this food is because we order for a coworkers birthday. Every time I place an order, it NEVER, EVER is right. Not only that, the lettuce they use must come directly out of a bucket of water because I had to put a box under one side of my salad and watched as the water dripped any sauce to the corner. See the picture. The meat was good, that's why there's 1 star. As for ordering, the menu offers veggies for fajitas but not salad, so they load it with corn chips that I didn't want. They had no steam veggies even though the website to their store offers it. They said they NEVER have steamed veggies there. I have tried this restaurant a few times, and every single time, it is a big giant disappointment. For Real, what is the draw? They call it some kind of mexican food, but it isn't. I think this might be more like Lynn Wilson's meets Cafe rio. And that is an insult to Lynn Wilson frozen burritos!! You are better off going to an authentic mexican restaurant if authentic mexican food is what you prefer. If you like swimming salads in bucket water, have at it. Seriously their food...
Read moreI was so excited for a Cafe Rio nearby. I was really hoping they were going to be better than the ones on 2100. They never cease to quit forgetting items in my bag. Being there in line, dealing with traffic and doing everything else, I don't have the ability to sit there and sort through every item to make sure it's there. Apparently this new ones got the same issue..already. Every time I order more dressing or sauce, I come home and they're missing. It's pretty disappointing. How hard is it to get it right? Especially if I ordered it? And paid for it? Why do I have to come all the way back down there just to get what I paid for? I was really hoping this was going to be different down here. I guess I'll have to make a scene, demand that they show me each one of the sauces/dressing I ordered, and waste everybody else's time sitting in line, too go through every item, when I go through the drive-through if they can't get it done right. I ordered guacamole. It's avocados not smashed. I used to live in Utah county. Café Rio, the original one in orem, was amazing. I really wish I could say that for the...
