Panda Express — Restaurant in San Antonio

We took a vacation in San Antonio and stopped at this location to get some food after a long day of driving. We arrived around 8:10 and there was a sign on the door stating they were closing at 8:30 for "maintenance" whatever that means. The majority of the dishes in the case were empty and they stated they weren't going to make anything else because they were closing in 20 minutes and had already begun cleaning the kitchen.

When I was in high school, I worked at a restaurant, Pizza Pro to be exact, and even on the rare occasion that we would close early (for instance, for our store Christmas party), if someone came in even 2 minutes before we turned off the OPEN sign, we would make them whatever they wanted. We'd have been fired if we shut off the ovens 30 minutes before close and told people we weren't going to make any more food because we had to close early. I dont know whats worst the food or the customer service at this location. Went in today to give it a second chance and that was the worst mistake I made. I was given the wrong food not just once but twice and to top it off I called about 10 times and there was no answer. I went back to the store and there was no customers and 5 employees on staff. How do you have so many people and can't even answer the phone or give the right order? That was not the worst thing, the manager was the worst and most rude person. She was beyond rude and not only that, she was not even wearing a mask. We have a whole pandemic going on and people specially managers working on a fast food place with no mask thats digusting and unacceptable. I will never come back this location. So I love panda express however this location randomly decides to turn off there online ordering system at random times and it's always for the full day when they do this. On the same days they turn off there online ordering system they do not answer phones literally at all. I've spoken to management and they say it's so they can focus on customers that are walk ins only. I disagree with this method. This location also struggles with consistency, unfortunately sometimes the food doesn't taste the same or lacks sauce.
