Very disappointed. After saying they had pizza back in stock, staff said the new batch of dough wouldn’t fit in the oven. I suggested they fold it over and bake calzone, but they said no. Fried calamari was rubbery and barely chewable. No way this was actually squid - no visible rings and tentacles like there should have been. Accompanying red sauce wasn’t cocktail sauce with horseradish but pasta sauce with Italian herbs. And it was served ice cold. No sliced jalapeño pepper rings either. Lemon slices served on the side had seeds. Turkey club sandwich was disappointing too. Toast was warm but everything inside was cold. Staff were polite and listened well. That’s the only reason I gave this two stars not 1 star. They comped the calimari and discounted the sandwich.

This restaurant is in the Hotel Indigo on the Riverwalk and it is fantastic! I spent four nights in the hotel and due to inclement weather ate several meals there. It was so good I didn’t feel I missed out visiting other restaurants. Everything I ate was great! Staff was super helpful and courteous! Highly recommend: Angus Burger Fusilli Pasta with Mushrooms (&Shrimp) Manchego Salad Cheesecake

Chilaquiles breakfast was delicious, just add a side of potatoes or bread since eggs are over chips. Breakfast burritos were good but the tacos were excellent. Bar staff was excellent. For restaurant staff, You really have to engage with customers as they enter the area and for sure once seated. Once engage staff was outstanding!

This place is laughable at best, Absolutely terrible. Ordered wings that were fried in old oil and you can taste that lingering bitter taste. Asked for blue cheese - got ranch. HORRIBLE. So I had a few drinks - the bartender was extremely arrogant as if she was doing me a favor. I asked for her thoughts on a margherita and her reply was - “like any other margherita”. No concept of how to sell or up sell. Now after a few drinks that were served I switched and went with vodka (they didn’t have absolute and in fact we’re out of a lot of things , which was the reply to many during my time at the bar.) with soda instead of Tonic which I ordered and flat at that. Anyway, i was still hungry so I decided to order a burger with that “secret sauce”, but guess what? They didn’t have any and after asking what it was not 1 person of the three could tell me what it was. So I get upstairs and open the box to find out - they didn’t have sour pickles either (per their menu) so they gave me bread and butter circles which are disgusting and were dry. Did I mention that the bun was old and fell apart, so I just decided to toss the burger that wasn’t worth any more than a cheeseburger at McDonald’s. This place is an absolute joke and the “workers” need to learn the menu, stay off their phones and remember that people like me leave tips for their work not their phones dinging every few minutes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS IT WAS TOTAL GARBAGE AND A WASTE OF $132.00. Oh but wait…. The cake was extremely old and I left it at the front desk for their review and walked away. All the girls did was throw it in the garbage. Fresca is...

Fresca on the River at the Hotel Indigo sounds promising, but unfortunately fell short of expectations. We dined there on a Sunday night before an event and were immediately disappointed to learn that a third of the menu was unavailable. While the remaining options looked tempting (and were certainly priced that way!), the reality was underwhelming. I ordered the Caesar Salad, which I have had better out of a plastic bag from heb. My companion had the wedge salad and found it not fresh and looked to be assembled by a 12 yr old. The service was also lackluster. Our server, who was also juggling hostess duties, seemed overwhelmed and rarely checked in on us. With so many fantastic dining options in San Antonio, I'd recommend giving Fresca on the...
