Incredible artwork, and a sobering reminder of how much our veterans sacrifice. I took a slight detour on my way to work to visit this war memorial. It features sculptures dedicated to WWII, Korea, and Vietnam war veterans. I thought it was interesting that the Vietnam sculpture said it was sculpted by a veteran of the battle it depicts and is a recreation of his actual experience. Give yourself a few extra minutes sometime and stop to pay homage to our veterans.

The Vietnam War Memorial, located near the San Antonio Riverwalk, was a nice break from the more touristy sites. It was not a large park but a nice memorial to those who fought in Vietnam and Korea. As a former soldier in the US Army, it is always a proud and humbling moment to see honor given to those men and women who fought to keep us safe. Godspeed!!

Excellent as always, however, main flag (front of building) needs to be replaced (ripped). Grass cutters were using an edger instead of lawnmower to cut main awn, so, some areas were a combination of brown & green. In other words, uneven spots all over. Not very professional for sacred ground! This issue was on MLK day Jan. 17th 2022.
