I ordered two travel packs of coffee as I was attending a funeral for our family and was supplying the coffee and breakfast. I called the night before letting them know I needed it to be ready at 7:30 AM. We arrived and waited until 7:50. As I was in a rush I asked the girl what time we should ask for them to be ready next time to ensure they are ready by 7:30. The girl at the counter started off extremely rude which put me in on the defense (because why would she automatically become combative when I only asked a question?). She made comments like, “as you can see we are busy” and “I had to make a mobile travel pack and they actually paid for theirs before you” and other unnecessary snarky remarks. They may have ordered theirs that morning and paid for it but I ordered mine the night before and also paid for it when I arrived. I told her that her attitude and comments were rude and unnecessary. While I stayed silent because she continued to go on about all the excuses why it wasn’t ready I stood there in silence. Mostly aghast at how she was talking to me. I don’t believe the customer is always right or that service people are punching bags. I am overly nice to folks in the food/service industry because I worked in it for 13 years. I have never, not once, experienced someone who immediately started speaking to me the way she did. I do not want the response that is put on everyone else’s post of their poor experience. I would like a call from the district manager. Honestly, I might’ve let it roll off my back if I wasn’t laying a family member to rest day of. However…now I will not let it rest until someone takes accountability. Whether it is the employer, her manager, or the company. I...
Read moreIf you're going to let the employees change the hours of operation, at least show them how to update the app and google information. If NOT then at least give the person their order and dont hold it hostage! Want to clean so you can leave early... ahhh. Staying at the La Quinta next to this branch, without a car, and decided to order my favorite drink Via app. Not having a car, I logically placed it for a in-store pickup. When to pick it up, they told me I could not go inside. OK, I want to go to my room anyway, I dint care to stay in the store, just need my drink. Through the windows, they said, no I had to go through the drive through. "I dont have a car!" I told them, they said just go around. So I did that, was quite embarrassing, but the line of cars was cool... most star buck drinkers are cool but im biased. Then they told me they could not give it to me after waiting in the drive thru lane! Not sure what the deal is. If you're going to be closed. Don't allow me to order it on the app. Or credit my app or give it to me through the door many many options worst option is tell me to go through the drive through and then not give it to me through the drive through. Their google business listing still says its in-store pickup is open until 9:30 and as my cortado tag clearly states it was at 8. Just update your app and treat customers better... its not rocket science. Of course I have video of the whole episode and ill share...
Read moreThis location's operation is so OFF BRAND for Starbucks. It could not be farther from a Third Place if it tried.
I came to this location to do some work and recharge my battery, while enjoying a icy frapp.
Upon walking up to the door I noticed that people were inside, leaned up against the windows and there weren't any tables or chairs -- inside or outside.
Clearly I wouldn't be able to charge my dead battery.
But then I noticed that there was an electrical outlet just inside the door & said to the barista; "I notice there aren't any tables or chairs but I wonder if I can just charge my battery while I wait for my drink?"
I know... I kicked myself as soon as the words passed my lips. Why did I ask for permission. I should have just plugged in and said nothing. That's not what happened though...
The barista said "no. We're not allowed to let anybody plug anything in."
Seriously??
Who runs this place??
While this sort of nonsensical event isn't a surprise at all these days -- it's harder than ever to have a decent customer service experience anywhere, let alone a good or great one -- what's unbelievable to me in this instance is how much Starbucks has always prioritized their brand reputation, and how this shameful location even gets to turn the lights on.
Give your business to any place but here until they run the location to minimum...
