⛔🛑 Update- today 7/30/21 I once again ordered lunch with a group of us from work. It showed up over an hour later, I really want to know what kind of people they hire as Managers??? This is HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I suggest that the owner hires someone who is a GREAT manager, nor a mediocre one. (Summer 2020) Ordered what I thought would be a good and fast meal, instead I ended waiting 30 minutes for my food. The bad part is I was checking the status of my order and it kept saying order received so finally I called to see what the hold up was in it being ready. The person who answered my call said " oh were waiting on the bread, it's in the oven and then it'll be another 10 minutes before we can make your order because it has to cool down". #1 a phone call would have be nice because I could have gone to another location in the time it took. #2 I ended getting our order on wheat which totally through off the taste of the sandwiches we'd been salivating for. #3 I received a email 2 hours later saying my order was ready. From the very beginning of the call he was not willing to be of any positive assistance, was rude, and not to mention a smart a**. To anyone calling as an upset customer please call in in a kind sincere tone because Alex won't help since you're upset. Because I asked for a refund and to take the sandwich back he agreed "since I offered", he said. Yet only agreed to fixing the sandwich. He hung up on me. As I called back he said he's the Franchisee and that if I I didn't know the definition that means the owner so I'm not getting any help and hung up again. When asked for corporates number he told me to look it up. Take your business right across the street to Subway. You will be guaranteed great customer service. Read moreI dont typically give bad reviews bc i like supporting businesses, but in my entire 15 years as a customer service professional. I havent seen someone like Valerie. She is unprofessional and lacks any meaningful sense of customer service and working through issues, quite frankly im not sure why she even works here bc she doesnt seem to like working with customers or coming up with a solution. She escalated to calling the police because I was "rude" because my order was 20 minutes late after my app stated the sub has been completed (and this incident was 2 weeks prior!) I offered a work around solution to see the next step, but she escalated in getting law enforcement involved, like Im a thug or something. No apologies from her or the team whatsoever on a company that started in central Illinois near my alma-mater that prides itself on fast deliveries and timeliness and working w customers.
