Knockout — Restaurant in San Antonio

This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had anywhere. We went to have dinner, drinks, and watch the Cowboy/49er game this pasy Sunday. My boyfriend and I ordered drinks and I ordered some sliders with tater tots while my boyfriend ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. There was not very many people in the establishment, so I didn’t think it would take very long to get our food. After about half an hour, I went up to the bar to see what happened to the food because it was taking a little long and while I was walking up, the bartender didn’t notice I was standing there. I witnessed the bartender actually asking his friends if they wanted to taste the food on the plates before he took it over to the customers The three plates of food he had in his hand, so happened to be MY food !! I witnessed his friends opening the burger, eating the sweet potato fries opening the box of tater tots and trying those too. I then asked another one of the workers there why everybody was tasting my food! He claimed it was not my food and I told him to check what was on the plate because I knew it was my food and I could describe everything I had ordered without looking at the plate. I was flabberghasted!! I did not even receive an apology!! The cook said he could remake it for me , but at this point what was the point ?? How was i going to know if everyone was going to be tasting the remade plates before it got to my table. I am giving one star because I cannot post a review without putting at least one. My husband and I decided to stop by and get a slice of pizza before we continue going to the other bars and I have to say the pizza was really great so when it was time to leave I told my husband let's go back and get two more slices , a pepperoni and cheese sliced to go home to eat the next day, that's when I noticed one of the employees I think her name was Erica she was a short white girl with blonde long hair grabbing everything on site money register you name it and grab my slice of pizza with her bare hand and threw it in the oven thats when I asked her ,excuse me don't you wear gloves I just noticed you grab a slice of pizza which is mine without any gloves she got very defensive and actually argued with me through the entire time there was another employee there who washed his hands grab some gloves and got me my pizza and put it in the oven he did have some attitude I guess because of what was going on but at least he did put gloves the other girl did go and hide and never came out my husband and I were so surprised that she would actually argue with me about the whole situation instead of apologizing I told her I will call the health department ASAP and make sure they see what is going on and she said she did not care, so to anyone that does go there make sure you see if they wash their hands or wear gloves if not please by all means with social media nowadays recorded...

So i’ve been to this place a few times! and i haven’t had any bad experiences until tonight! A bartender i’ve had ONE other interaction with and not a bad one either! But tonight was completely different! Context: This bartender tried to hit on me the first time i was here and i respectfully declined (in a relationship) and that was it! no problems! but tonight saw me again and declined giving me service the first time! ( i thought maybe he was trying to clock out! cool!) but another time i come around to order my last round of shots he remembered me and was so rude! i was in shock bc i didn’t think he’d remember me or act as such. but because i was in a relationship, he did not even try to give me service! i didn’t understand what was happening and thought he might be joking until he was cussing at me in front of others! i thought maybe he misheard something i said idk! but i was so embarrassed and didn’t know what to do! i received service from another nice bartender and left! i apologized to those who witnessed what happened. they even said this guy was tripping! i wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re a woman by themselves or in a relationship. idk! this was my first horrible bar encounter, so maybe i’m dramatic but i know this was not okay! and wanted to share my experience. i’d probably go again if i didn’t see that bartender there! his...
