Subway — Restaurant in San Antonio

I was insulted, aloud, in front of the entire store after waiting patiently for a long time. As usual there was a small line, two people in front of me, but the wait was around 20 minutes. I patiently waited, not a word or a look, I just texted a friend during this time. When I finally get to order the vegetables for my sandwich an employee made the comment, "Is that all?! How are you ever going to grow up big and strong?" I am an in shape, 6ft, 245 pound man in my early 30's who exercises regularly. It was as if he was saying I was weak but using different words. Everyone in the store became silent and looked at the both of us. Talk about embarrassing. I took this as an insult as the employee who said it is, in fact, taller than me and probably has an extra 80 pounds of fat hanging from him and little to no muscle. His uniform badly stretched around his belly. Being tall and fat with no muscle doesn't mean you are strong. That just means you're fat and out of shape. At first I wanted to make a scene and call him out but didn't. I'm not a degenerate. I only responded stating that the wait for my sandwich was too long and he was unprofessional. The employees then ignored me till it was time to pay. I have given this store an excellent review in the past. It is unfortunate that a slob of an employee had to ruin going to this location for me. Maybe he will be more professional on my next visit. Honestly, how does he ever expect to get a real job with comments and an attitude like that? I've been there before, a low paying job that will make you feel like a loser when I was in high school, this guy looked like he was in his 30's. But I never took it out on the customers with passive aggressive remarks. Especially when the customer has been waiting a while and hasn't given any attitude what so ever. I even said please and thank you up until that point. Take what you want from this review but I felt something needed to be said about the situation. My two children and I visited a Subway store, located at 10650 Culebra Rd Suite 108, San Antonio, Tx 78251 at 9:18pm on 5/10/2024. The store hours showed store hours from 9am-10pm for today (Friday). Upon entering and ordering, my kids and I were then told by the only female employee available there, that we couldn’t eat inside the restaurant because the “lobby is closed”. I told her that the hours on the door said they close at 10pm, but she still refused service to us to eat inside the restaurant because she said they already cleaned, so my kids and I had to eat in the car outside the restaurant. Livid and want this situation rectified because I paid, and then were advised we had to head out of the restaurant and not even allowed to eat at the tables during business hours. I WAITED 5 MINUTES FOR THE MEATBALLS TO "Cook" THEY WERE ALMOST FROZEN WHEN I BIT INTO ONE!

I'm so pissed. They put slices of cheese on my salad. Common sense would say chop up the cheese! The cucumbers were soggy, the tomatoes looked old, and the spinach was wilted. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!

They had just opened up and almost every table had crumbs, I didn't know where to sit to wait for my order. That means nobody cleaned up last night or this morning.
