my experience today describes the greatness of america and its wonderful people. Today i stopped at McDonald here on wurzbach road to grab a medium fries and hash brown. It was a 24 hr drive through and i placed the order. When i reached the pick up area , i was served with a hashbrown and a medium sprite. By this time i had already payed the bill . I told the person that i had ordered a medium fries and not medium sprite . Sounds similar right. The lady at the counter immediately mentioned it to her supervisor and got me the medium fries. Guess what , she offered me the medium sprite without any extra bucks. I was astonised at this offer but i rejected it politely and asked if i had to pay anything extra since the fries costed more than the sprite . But the lady at the counter graciously said i need not pay anything extra. Wow rght , if you think this is the end of story then you are wrong . The incident after this is what shows u the true american values. I apologized for my mistake telling it was my accent that was bad and they could not take the order correctly . The wonderful lady at the counter replied " you are good . The person taking the order was not cautious to get it right and they did not hear it right" . I was out of words hearing her response . She took the blame on her fellow employee just to make a customer feel good. She could see that i am an immigrant and it was obvious that i had different accent and different way to say things. But the lady at the counter represented the true american value of respecting every person irrespective of their color , country and race. I was really glad to witness this lovely gesture. Even though this was a small incidence , it showed me why this country America is one of the greatest country on earth. A country is made by its people who value humanity , respect of individual and helping each other . Being an indian , i feel The world has a lot of learn from this wonder land called "united states of america ". Thank...
Read moreThe last time I came to this location service was bad, I gave them another chance... to give me food poisoning. Waited at pick up window for over 13 minutes after paying while I observed employees gathering in a circle for unknown reasons. Finally got the bag and my companion asks if they still carry the yogurt parfait which this employee couldn't even pronounce so suffice to say they don't have it. As we drove away I noticed the fries were missing. Looking closer I see several of the Burger's are half wrapped- half exposed AND the fries are at the bottom of the bag, and ice cold. Now mcdonald's is famous for their fries, I'm sure their fame didn't come from fries like THESE. We debated whether or not to return. This was no longer an isolated event, this was with full cooperation of the management. I'm really disappointed in Mcdonald's especially when I myself am a former manager. The basic principles that the founders developed for a successful business have been tested and proven to work-why attempt to change them. Most aren't aware they are supposed to give 1 napkin per item and the bag should be folded twice with the straw resting in the fold (this both keeps your food warm and you don't loose your straw). When ordering they're ALWAYS supposed to ask if you would like to add a pie with that or make it a meal. Neither were asked. I saw multiple signs advertising the return of the holiday pies, when I tried ordering 2 of the Holiday Pies I was told they have one apple pie only and they didn't know if anyone plans to bake more. If they would have put some in the oven as I was ordering it would have been done after all the waiting I did. Like I said, this was really sad to see a business that is founded on providing exceptional customer service, quality food, cleanliness and value simply thrown out the door and ignored. Hoping someone higher up sees this and reviews video from the drive thru and takes...
Read moreDo not come here between 2am and 5am. In fact dont come at all! They are so slow. Waited in the drivethru line for 45 minutes. Couldnt leave because my car was blocked in. And then I get to the window and she says "Oh its cash only". I asked for a receipt and supposedly they couldnt do it. Terrible staff! Terrible wait time! Never coming back to this location.
I called after my visit and asked to speak with a manager. I asked for the manager's name and she refused to give it to me! After threatening to call corporate she finally said her name was Roselle. I complained about the drivethru employee who said her name was Alanis (or something like that). She was rude and has no business being in customer service (both the manager and the drivethru girl). The "manager" kept making excuses and offered no resolution other than she was "sorry". I'll be going back in person to speak with the General Manager in the daytime so they can be aware of how poorly trained their staff is. I also asked why it was cash only. They claimed because they were counting the cash. I asked for a receipt and they said that wasnt possible. Sounds fishy to me. I'll be sure to let corporate know there may be some theft happening at this location. Either way the customer service was amongst the worst I have EVER received in my life! Included a picture of the drivethru girl. Out of respect I didnt get her face, but you can at least see what she looks like in general. If you encounter her my advice is to leave and go to...
