Went threw the drive thru @ 3am after leaving a trip to the emergency room feeling tired and down. When placing my order the clerk made me smile when singing the McDonald's tune. It was a much needed uplifting spirit to change my disposition st the time. It's the little things in life like this that will keep me going back for more. Needless to say the night shift rocks and the service was great.
So it's been like 3 months since my last visit to this location and OMG what a drastic change and I'm not talking about the food because it was good. What I'm talking about is the staff including the night manager. I went through the drive thru @ 10:30pm and I ordered proceeded to window 1 and when paying I realized I didn't have a drink for one of my guest. So I told the cashier to add a large coke. After paying I confirmed that she added the coke and she said yes but she would also verbally let them know as well. I drive up to window 2. They hand me my order and when I got the drink it was a sprite so I tell the staff member that the drink should be a coke. She said that sprite was what was on the ticket and if I wanted a coke they would have to recharge me . I asked why they would have to recharge me if they got it wrong to begin. She replied by saying I should have confirmed my order on the screen at the drive-thru menu. I told her I didn't order the coke at the drive-thru menu I added it to my order at window one and the cashier said she would tell y'all that I added it to my order. She said nobody told her anything it was on the ticket as a Sprite. So with nobody being in line behind me I reverse and went back to window one and ask the girl why she didn't tell them that I added a Coke to my order. She said she forgot to and I informed her that they were giving me a problem about getting a Coke so she went and got her manager. I explained to the manager what was going on and he said that he would correct it however the problem me not ordering it at the drive-thru menu. I agree to a certain point but what happened to the customer is always right? I mean this whole encounter was I felt like they were forcing me to take they're screw up or I would be charged for another drink. It wasn't what I ordered and I didn't want it so I feel they should have given me what I said I ordered without it being a problem. It just makes me feel like some people have no people skills at all and the type of job they should have should be in the mail room in a basement somewhere with no people contact or interaction or go to therapy and learn social interaction. Wonder what happened to the previous staff members cause this crew is awful and I will not...
Read moreMay 31st, 2025 This place just keeps going down hill. It's like they intentionally hire the worst people for food service, starting with its managers. 1:34am shift, the entire staff had no sense of urgency, AT ALL! They were just taking to each other putting sauces in the bags one at a time, 3 ladies standing in the same spot while one bagging and another with her hand on her hip, meanwhile, the line went all around to edge of the entrance, double line! I placed my order 15 minutes before getting at location, waited another 20 before I got to the windows just to be giving an excuse why they were about to start making my burger. I told the lady the entire crew had no sense of urgency and she got hysterical. If I can ever put my own mcdonalds, I'll place it right next to this one. I bet I'd make a bunch of people happy
Ordering here is becoming a nuisance. Almost every time they miss an item and this one time I decided to drive back and speak to the manager on shift at 9pm Tuesday, March 25, 2025. He said his name is Johna, but was unwilling to give his last name. I told him this is a recurrent thing, and just today I decided to drive back and he said if I had ever tried calling and if I had a receipt, like trying to discredit me. This got me on my nerves being that the one time I decide to make claim what I paid for out of the many times it's happened, this childish manager acts condescending on me right from the get go. I told him not only i could show him the receipt but he could also look at his indoor cameras to which he said "why would I do that", like wasn't he trying to discredit me? Meaning he didn't really care if they really missed my order, he was just trying to discredit me either way. What moron of a kid to have as a manager. Please real careful when choosing immature people to...
Read moreI came to the McDonald's on East Southcross and I placed an order for the 20-piece nuggets and a basket of fries deal for $8.99. I gave the employee David my code he entered it on his end and my McDonald's app showed it was redeemed. David says that the code isn't working if he can have the code again so I go back into my McDonald's app trying to give him a code and it states that I have 13 minutes remaining till I can redeem again. So I tell him what it shows and he says that it didn't go through and that I can pull up and he will show me that it's not working and I stated well I can also show you on my end that it went through because why would it state that I have 13 minutes remaining to use another code. I asked him I want to speak with a Manager about this situation. He comes back asking what the deal I was getting. So I told him the $8.99 20-piece and a basket of fries. He says Pull up to the first window. As I pull up he is already giving an idk vibe he has his back away from me waited and nothing from Davd so I assumed he meant for me to pull up to the #1 window so I drove up. He then comes and rudely tells me my price and storms off. He then comes back with the same attitude and hands me my card and receipt shuts the window and walks away. David's attitude started to rub off on me. Ugh, I hate that feeling. Whatever his problem is he shouldn't take it out on anyone. He should leave his problems at home and not bring them to work unless it had something to do with work. But don't take it out on customers. Do better David I hope everything works out for...
