We’ve been to Qatra Specialty Coffee several times and it’s quickly become one of our favorite hangout spots! The coffee is consistently excellent, the cakes and teas are delicious, and the frappes and non-coffee options are just as enjoyable. The ambience is super chill and modern — and the best part? They’re open late! It’s the perfect go-to spot for a relaxed late-night coffee run. That said, we did have a bit of a different experience on our most recent visit. We came in as a family well over an hour before closing time and were warmly greeted by Thi Phuong S., who was very sweet and helpful in taking our order. However, we were told that because the store would be closing in about an hour, all our drinks and desserts would need to be served in to-go containers — even though we were allowed to sit inside. We didn’t mind too much and smiled it off — but what caught us off guard was seeing other guests who arrived after us being served in-store with full dine-in presentations, including coffee pots and ceramic cups. I kindly brought this up with the server, and while she did apologize, it left us feeling a bit confused and honestly a little overlooked. We genuinely love this place and will absolutely continue to support it — but we hope the management can provide a bit more clarity or staff training so that every guest feels equally welcome and valued. It would also be great if there was an easy way to share feedback, perhaps listed on the receipt or somewhere visible in-store. Looking forward to many more visits. Keep up the great work, Qatra team — just a small tweak or two away from perfection!

If you haven’t been to Qatra Yemeni Coffee yet, you’re seriously missing out! This new hidden gem in San Antonio delivers an exceptional experience, blending authentic Yemeni flavors with creative, high-quality drinks and desserts.

Our order was a delightful mix of refreshing drinks and decadent sweets, and every single item was absolute perfection!

☕ Iced Strawberry Matcha & Iced Vanilla Matcha with Cold Foam – These were heavenly! The matcha was smooth and rich, perfectly balanced with the fruity sweetness of strawberry and the warm notes of vanilla. The cold foam added a luxurious creaminess that made each sip even more satisfying.

🍰 Lotus Cheesecake – A total showstopper! The creamy, velvety cheesecake with the caramelized crunch of Lotus biscuits was an indulgence worth every bite. Not too sweet, just the right balance of flavors.

🍯 Milk Cake with Caramel – If you love soft, melt-in-your-mouth desserts, this is the one! It was light yet rich, soaked just enough for the perfect texture, and the caramel drizzle took it to the next level.

đŸ«– Yemeni Black Tea – A must-try for tea lovers! It had a deep, aromatic flavor with a perfect touch of sweetness. Smooth, comforting, and brewed just right.

đŸ„„ Mufawaar - This Yemeni coffee was next level! The spices were bold yet beautifully balanced, creating a fragrant and warming cup of coffee that instantly transported us to the heart of Yemen.

Qatra isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s an experience. The ambiance is cozy, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the quality of everything they serve is unmatched. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a unique and delicious treat, this place is 100%...

Qatra Specialty Coffee is an absolute gem tucked away in San Antonio. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with a calming, elegant atmosphere that blends modern design with traditional charm. The ambiance is inviting and thoughtfully curated — soft lighting, natural tones, and beautifully arranged seating areas that make it easy to relax, work, or catch up with friends. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel like staying longer than you planned, just to soak in the vibe.

We ordered their iced Yemeni latte, and it was a delightful experience. This isn’t your average iced coffee — it has a distinctive flavor profile that reflects its cultural roots. The addition of cinnamon and honey added warmth and depth to the classic iced latte taste, offering a slightly spiced, slightly sweet twist that sets it apart. It’s refreshing yet bold, smooth but rich, and you can tell it was crafted with care. Definitely a unique and memorable take on a familiar favorite.

What stood out most was the overall attention to detail, not just in the drink, but in the whole experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and you could sense the passion behind the concept of Qatrapt — not just another coffee shop, but a space that celebrates Yemeni heritage and specialty coffee in a meaningful way. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or just someone looking for a great place to unwind, Qatrapt is worth a visit — and...
