Reserved a month in advance, gave credit card info to reserve a room and we were given a confirmation number for our reservation. Then 4 days before our trip when I called to ensure our room would be ready, the same man who took my reservation a month ago told me the system was down and he could not check on my reservation, he said that he had plenty of rooms for the dates we were to be in town and I should not worry about having my room available. Just to be on the safe side I called again two days later, two days before our trip. The same man answered, I again asked for confirmation that our room would be ready. He again said that his system was down, BUT now in stead of there being plenty of rooms he said he was fully booked. After a very confusing and unacceptable few minuets of Q and A him he concluded that we were not one of those bookings. He offered to transfer our reservation to a different hotel but it was further away from where we needed to be in the morning. He had no other options for us. We made our reservation a month in advanced to ensure our trip go smoothly and the staff/management/ownership (i think it is family owned and operated) was a real disappointment. With so many great reviews we were really let down by this place and the gentleman, said his name was Nicky or Micky, who failed to adequately resolve the problem he created by disguarding, misplacing, or double booking our reservation. He also, did not call me back when he said he would, which left us scrambling to find an adequate substitute hotel.. We ultimatly cancalled the credit card we used to reserve the room as well as called Nicky/Micky at Knights Inn to cancel with him over the phone. We wanted to enjoy all this place had to offer, sadly we did not get the chance. Tread with caution. Have option 2 just in...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at La Hacienda Motel in San Antonio, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home.
The rooms at La Hacienda Motel are not only clean and well-maintained but also beautifully decorated, giving the place a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The comfortable beds and pillows provided me with a great night's sleep, and the amenities in the room were more than I could have asked for.
One of the standout features of this motel is its location. It's conveniently situated near many of San Antonio's top attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. Whether you're interested in visiting the historic Alamo, enjoying the vibrant River Walk, or exploring the local culture, you'll find that La Hacienda Motel is just a short drive away from everything.
What truly sets La Hacienda Motel apart is the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always available to answer my questions and provide recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area.
Additionally, the motel offers great value for the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of my stay, especially considering the quality of service and accommodations.
I highly recommend La Hacienda Motel to anyone visiting San Antonio. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this motel offers a fantastic experience. Thank you, La Hacienda Motel, for making my stay in San Antonio memorable. Hope to...
Read moreThe male who works at the front desk (and lives on site) is very rude, hostile, and unprofessional. He couldn't even greet me with a smile. He started by challenging my reservation after giving him my name by saying, "Try again." I paid for the room in my name. He just wanted me to identify the guest I listed, and he had the audacity to ask what her relation was to me. That's really not your business detective. He later became angry and yelled because he "assumed" I had more overnight guests because he saw two additional friends stop in for a visit. I told him they weren't staying, they were just visiting. They soon departed. He snatched a dysfunctional room key from my hand, accusing me of having it next to my cellphone, which deactivates the stripe, while I kept it stored in an RFID wallet. I explained that the card still worked on my room but not on the hotels entrance door. He thinks his height is intimidating. He is not. He's just a rude wanna be tough guy who can't control his emotions and has no business in the customer service industry. The room was clean and acceptable. Fortunately there weren't many guests in the hotel because it does not appear that the lot can accommodate all the cars if the building was full. The poor service is a deal breaker for me though. I dont recommend based...
