I have to use a wheelchair at events because I am disabled. I bought a ticket to the show tonight for Everclear back in early October. I was told that if I bought the refund package and I couldn’t find someone to go with me to help me with my wheelchair that I could just get a refund. After my specialist, scheduled a doctors appointment for me in Louisiana, I had to cancel my ticket and return home on November 20th. I have been trying to receive a refund now for the last 2 1/2, three weeks. Now they are telling me because I bought the refund package that I cannot get a refund, even though I am over 400 miles away from the event. it’s a catch 22 because if you buy the refund package, the venue will not help you get a refund. They didn’t read me or notify me of any stipulations that I was going to have to go through to receive a refund from the third-party company and they did not tell me their refund package was through a different company when I purchased it. I feel that the espee is responsible for not notifying me that there were terms and conditions and massive loopholes to jump through with their third-party company, and that the refund package was not through their company at the time of purchase on the phone. All I was told was that if I could not attend, I could just get a refund. Now they are saying otherwise and I have submitted everything I’ve been asked for to prove that I cannot attend the event to the refund company and the Espee personnel who sold me the ticket and told me if I needed a refund it would be no problem if I bought the refund package is now telling me I cannot get a refund because I bought the refund package. They did not give me the terms and conditions of what they allow refunds for. I don’t know about other people because I’m not able to work a normal job anymore, but I can’t afford to spend $100 on a ticket, not be able to go and not be able to get a refund. If you are disabled and need to be in a wheelchair, do not buy tickets to this venue for any show. They do not provide any handicap areas or seated areas, there is no parking near the venue so you will need to have someone with you to get you to the event because the parking lots are too far away. This is just a horrible experience that I won’t repeat again again and I hope no one else does either. This is horrible business practices. I cannot believe in this day and age that you do not have any kind of provisions that protect your customers from this kind of situation....
Read morewent to the ptv show here the other day, worst concert experience in my entire life (and i’ve been to lots) first of all the staff was completely clueless as to where to direct everyone, they moved the location of the vip, pavilion and GA line more than 5x then got annoyed when people were confused? literally laughable. then once we finally got in after all the confusion we got to the pavilion and realized there was a barricade straight down the middle of the pit. this was literally baffling because i’ve never been to an alternative show where they split the crowd in half????? this was an obvious cash grab on the venues end so that they could charge $30 more to be 5 ft closer to the stage. absolutely ridiculous setup, there was so much space leftover and they didn’t let anyone scoot up to close the huge gap infront of the stage. but that was just the beginning of the terrible experience we endured. as the show went on they stationed 5 security guards to create a physical barricade in the middle of the pit to stop people from entering the premium section from the middle of the barricade. I am literally less than 5ft tall so these men standing directly infront of me for the entire show blocked my entire view. everytime i would scoot one step forward or sideways (due to pushing of the crowd behind me) they would forcibly PUSH me and the other people next to me. i got harassed the entire time by these incompetent security guards that treated me as a threat for absolutely no reason. if they really wanted people to stay in one place and not move an inch they should have closed the barricade entirely, but i had to pay the price of this terrible setup choice. i’ve since reached out the venue to request a full refund due to them ruining my entire experience and compromising mine/my friends safety and they are ignoring my messages, which i excepted after that circus of an event. do not go to any shows here lol...
Read moreI went to this place once for a music festival and had a nice time, save for the fact that there was literally only one food vendor. However, the next time I went, I was refused entry because of the fact that my bag was "too big" and had to be see-through. I came there on an Uber so I couldn't exactly leave my bag in my car or something. I told the security lady this and she just shrugged and turned away. The other security lady started barking at me to move out of the way. I was like, "What am I supposed to do with my bag??" She just ignored my question and kept ordering me to get out of the line.
I am a freakin' paying customer!! This is how they treat us for giving them our hard-earned money?? I got so mad that I just tore off my wristband and took another Uber back home because I didn't want to have to stash my bag somewhere and risk it getting stolen.
Suffice it to say I will NEVER be going to this venue again after this incident. I will be filing a chargeback and taking EVERY action necessary to get my money back. And I will be telling everybody I know to avoid this place. 99% of the artists they have are so mediocre, and their "no bags over 12 inches" rule is so completely absurd that I don't think it's even worth it coming here. I literally have only one purse and I take the bus and Uber everywhere.
I have been to dozens of music venues and maybe the worst was having to throw my water out. This was the most horrendous experience I've ever had at any concert...
