We saw an Edgar Allen Poe speakeasy popup show here which was awesome. It made us curious if they did weddings as the venue is gorgeous and a historical site which was originally built in 1884 as the previous location of San Antonio’s oldest African American church. Flash forward a few years. We got married here in April 2024! Can’t say enough positive things about the entire experience to include working with venue coordinator Ellen and her team. Highly recommend and the value to cost ratio is excellent! We received many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was. We did our ceremony and reception here. The venue team flipped the room from ceremony to reception in 15 min seamlessly! Ample pay parking just outside the venue, at Baldwin parking garage, or valet at 1902 nightclub (formerly known as Sunset Station). We were told two weeks prior the caterer needed food permits to be submitted. Also the company for the Spire needed to be added on to the caterers insurance.
