Ordered my son's food and went to get his drink only to find the drink machine out of ice. And, Exceedingly filthy. So I returned to the front for ice and was thoroughly ignored by everyone. Yes, It was lunch time. But that's what I was there for and I'm not exactly hard to see. (I'm tall and funny lookin'.) Some were actually working and moving with a sense of urgency. But others were slowly going about their day and talking. "Okay, I'll wait." I thought. Then, Another person came waltzing up and was promptly helped and sent on her way. If I'm being completely honest, This is where my frustrations began to boil over. Still, I remained calm and said nothing. Once my son's order was "ready", I had to remind them it was To Go. Only to be met with Colleen's exceptionally rude attitude. All I asked her to do was not put the fries that fell off the plate in the bag. Ya know, Because the counter is greasy af. She then responds with attitude and turns around to bad mouth me to the other employees at the fry station. After which, She intentionally gave my son the greasiest fries in the bin. I was wondering why it took her so long. But it all made sense when I finally got home and saw the limp and grease soaked cold fries... Why she would do that to my Autistic son in a petty attempt to get back at me, I'm sure I'll never know. But I Was So Mad My Mouth Literally Tasted Like Copper! I thought I was having a stroke for a second.
Is this the kind of people that Wendy's wants representing their company? Someone who would mess with a special needs childs food...? Because that's pretty low. Like, Lower than dirt. But I get it, Some people just can't be bothered to behave themselves even when at work. Although, I suppose I should thank her. Because I will never be spending another dollar at Wendy's ever again. I'll just go to Burger Boy like I...

I was not even a foot away from the tea container and she knew I was about to get more and she still took it away. Had to ask the guy that took our order at the register to get us some tea, that whole interaction was ridiculous. And then it's like she tried to play it off like that part of the ceiling was leaking too because she blocked off the section with chairs, it wasn't leaking at all. Then we get our food and we don't even get what we ordered other than one thing and they gave us a few jr bacon cheeseburgers that I guess we're meant for another order or were mistakes? Idk. I didn't mind the extra burgers, but the one burger we ordered dry was not dry and that upset us as well. I will sadly not be going back to this location of after the last several times we have went it has been similar to what was said in this review. Employees yelling at each other, freezing cold in the dining room, tables not cleaned at all, soda machine never working, and sometimes not getting what we've ordered. The last two times (including this visit) the two gentlemen that took our order were very nice and respectful and I'm appreciative of them. I pray management takes hold of this location and hires some people that will actually care about the way they present themselves and the way they prepare food, because the majority of the employees do not care it seems. God Bless and...
Read moreLocation is fine. Good crew. But... Wendy's, the home of the all around old fashioned everything. What does that even mean really? In general, it should mean fresh, delicious and most importantly, food made with love. I've been to a lot of Wendy's. It used to be my favorite fast food joint, hands down. Much like everything else, the pandemic has ruined almost everything I ever loved about Wendy's. Now that "to-go" orders have tripled since lockdown in 2020, everyone is trying to set themselves apart from the competition. Wendy's decided they would "improve" on the their biggest draw - for me anyways, The fries. Now they're coated in a "crispyfying, heat-keeping, soggy fries no-more" batter. Worst mistake in the history of fast food. They've ruined one of the best things they did better than anyone else. It's guaranteed to keep your fries warm and crispy. The only sacrifice is the amazing sea salt fries they used to have.
The sad thing is that as a result it doesn't matter where you get your Wendy's now - They ruined their old fashioned persona and really great fast food for hot crispy fries.
Now I just settle for McDonalds. At least...
