So I ordered 6 different meals from there, but i wasn’t sure it was a subscription because i picked out the 6 different meals. I checked the website to cancel if it was a subscription and it said for the whole week that i didn’t have any order history. The minute I saw my card being charged again I called zedrics asking if they could please not make the food and cancel my subscription. I was speaking with mario and he said that he couldn’t help me, that only a manager could help me, but there’s no manager on the day he’s working. He told me he had to text the manager to try to figure out how to help me, and that she said i could call back the next day and cancel. He also said i could cancel before 12pm and after 8pm, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case because the website still said i didn’t even have any order history. I asked him if he could leave a message with the kitchen and please not cook the food. i called back another day when i could and asked to speak to a manager. when i was met she said i couldn’t cancel till the day after they delivered my food, no message was relayed, and that i should have known it was a subscription because when i bought it, it said that. when previously mario did inform me that managers are the only ones that can cancel a subscription. I just tried to tell her the website says i haven’t ordered anything so i wasn’t able to cancel, i even called previously but they didn’t have a manager that could help me. She basically told me i was misinformed, and my food was already cooked and there was nothing she could do about it. Judging from the reviews and that they don’t post any of their bad reviews on their website this place must be good if you like the food and don’t have problems. Although if you do have problems don’t expect much help just cancel the day after they give you the product, you can always tell when a business just wants your money and doesn’t necessarily care about their customers. Now i have to pay the price when their website doesn’t work, when they don’t have a manager working everyday, and by the time i am able to get some help apparently i should...
Read moreThis is our second week ordering zedrics through door dash as a replacement for the previous meal prep service we used to use. I’ve gotta the meals are way more “creatively made” and not just basic ground meat and a veggie and a starch like some previous services we tried. They’re wayyyyyyyy better than factor meals which in my humble opinion were way tooo small portions and the food was just boring and gross after being heated from a frozen state. I order 10 meals on Sunday through door dash for my husband and the total is around 150. This food is well thought out too, low carbs, big on taste and plenty of meat in each package. Husband is 6’5” 255 lbs and works out like a madman. This service is a Godsend- saves $ at the store, cooking time in the kitchen, clean up time in the kitchen and my husband gets a new chef prepared meal every lunch and dinner. I just can’t say enough good things about Zedrics. My husband is starting the subscription service and it will be delivered 1 week from now and saving around $30 off the price we pay with door dash so woohoo for that. $125 for entire week of chef prepared lunches and dinners. Around $25 a day for lunch and dinner— friggin fantastic value. If your into looking your best, eating your best and saving time, effort and money on your weekly eating you’ve gotta try...
Read moreI tried Zedrics for about 2 months. I was able to experience and try many menu items. First the good. I really enjoyed the user friendly online ordering/website, especially since I live not so close. I also liked the delivery options, they were always on time, and carefully packed. Also, the pricing wasn't that bad either. And for the bad, I was just not impressed with the flavors or the taste of the entree's. Many different beef entree's had the exact same texture/taste to them, they were just either cut differently, or had a different seasoning/sauce on top, but more like they all started out being cooked in the same batch. In A lot of dishes, most of the veggies had a vinegar taste to them, I did not like that. Other meals tasted very bland, lacking seasoning. Also, many meals had quite a bit of carbs to them, even their so called "low carb" options. In the end I only found maybe 3 good entree's out of about 12 or so that I tried, and many times the taste was inconsistent when tried a second time. While ordering prepped meals are convenient, nothing is actually better than...
