This restaurant was among the first few results when searching for a kid friendly place in central San Diego. I have to say they fully delivered on that part - lots of space, comfortable seating, kid's menu, friendly and helpful service staff. So if you're looking to dine with young children, this is a good place. The staff were so friendly that we must have had about 8 people serving our party of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) and they did it in a way that wasn't obtrusive at all. Our server, the polite and charming Savannah, helped with suggestions and did all she could to compensate for the kitchen's deficiencies, and there were a few of those. I picked the lobster pasta, which tasted flat and one dimensional and the only flavor was salt. Lobster pieces were overcooked and even though the pasta was cooked al dente, that alone couldn't carry the dish and at just under $40 it was just poor value. As I complained about it, I was offered a hamburger instead, which had a yummy onion jam in it and I enjoyed it. Ultimately we were not charged for my entree. The risotto was good but not great, which is fairly easy to achieve with good arborio rice. On to the fish and chips, which seems to be their specialty but was overdone and super oily. The rest of the dishes were acceptable but very average. The dessert: the crown jewel of the menu is the chocolate and peanut crunch bar, which is a solid easy to like dessert and I can sincerely recommend it. The black fig and goat cheese tart had no figs but plums instead and the description was misleading in mentioning pine nuts in the crust. It was still good though and it can probably go well with some wine. Girls liked their cocktails and the draft beer was pretty good too. So in conclusion we did enjoy our evening but not because of great food and with the abundance of great eateries in SD, if this restaurant doesn't do something about its kitchen, it will become irrelevant very quickly.

During each of my visits to San Diego, I consistently choose to stay at the Hilton that is connected to this restaurant. On this particular trip, my experience was truly exceptional. Everything was flawless, including the service, the quality of the food and drinks, and the contemporary and immaculate ambiance. I want to particularly highlight the outstanding performance of our servers and bartenders on August 25th and 26th. Their customer service skills are among the best I’ve encountered in quite some time. Tania, our server, possesses a charm that is often rare to find and she took exceptional care of us. I am committed to continuing my patronage of this establishment for future dining experiences.

We visited this restaurant during its Barbie pop-up, and it was such a fun experience! The space was transformed with themed décor, creating a playful atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The pop-up featured a special limited menu with appetizers, entrees, and desserts inspired by the theme, along with creative signature cocktails. One of the highlights was the small roller rink set up in the courtyard, which added a nostalgic, interactive touch to the visit. If you have a Barbie fan in your life, or if you just enjoy unique dining experiences, I highly recommend checking it out before the decor and theme change.

I felt my situation was handlers incorrectly. There was a double post on my account , the director of food and beverage finally reached out to me after 2 voicemails and 1 verbal left with an associate. After her calling, I had already reached out to my banking institution, they stated in fact my card was double charged. After all of my inconvenience F&B manager stated she was not sure how this occurred. Although I respect the information she provided she provided, as a courtesy really think things should have been handled differently since the error cam from the restaurant and not myself. Beware when paying with...
