World Class Gelato in San Diego.

Everytime Im inside bobboi, eating my gelato, I always ask myself, why isn't this place bigger. Why isn't this a house hold name in San Diego. Why do people still go to Hamonds or Handels for a frozen dessert (I guess if you only like ice cream)? Why am i buying another scoop, after just eating one?

Bobboi focuses on using fresh quality ingredients (mostly california sourced), and turning them into both unconventional and conventional flavors that can satisfy taste of all kind. The gelato is consistent, flavourful and exact.

Tips: Little italy location (not in food court) is never too packed. Try to sample everything, and focus on the seasonal flavors as those tend to be the freshest.

Did not likes: All locations feature terrible parking. Not popular enough, i want this place to be big. Its a human right to have access to great gelato. Affogato is not a featured item, coffee used and extraction methods...

Bobboi has some delicious gelato. They have tons of flavors to choose from and they're all unique. They use local and organic ingredients. Something interesting is that the gelato is all covered so you can't see it, unlike other gelato shops where they showcase the gelato. This somehow makes the texture of the gelato from here so good.

I tried the Rose Honey and Matchatella. Both were delicious but I especially enjoyed the Matchatella. The chunks of chocolate were perfect with the Matcha. The Rose Honey was refreshing. These two flavors were a perfect combo together. Their gelato is light, flavorful, and not too sweet which I love.

Service was really friendly. Nicely decorated and has good amount of seating. They leave all their windows open so it was nice. Parking is horrible as expected in Little Italy, but definitely check this place out for dessert if you are already...

Omg, what a delicious gelato! Their flavours are excepcional. The texture is amazing, super creamy and silk. It notorious that they choose high quality, natural, and fresh ingredients. Extra points for the usage of some organic ingredients. Seriously, I really loved the taste and texture: smooth, extremely tasty, not too sweet and zero artificial after taste.

Highly recommend 2 flavours: Mediterraneo (hazelnut, pistachio and almond) + Augustino (banana with dulce de leche). This is the PERFECT match in a waffle cone, AMAZING.

They have some really good plant based options with oatmeal base, so it is a good place if you are vegan.

The service is outstanding, extremely friendly and welcoming. It wasnt busy today (sunday early afternoon), no wait line.
