Belmonty’s at Belmont Park was an absolute standout during our trip to San Diego. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was fun, relaxed, and welcoming, perfect for families, date nights, or anyone just looking to enjoy a great day by the beach.
Let’s talk about the food: the highlight was definitely the Funeral Cake. Hands down, it was one of the best desserts we’ve ever had, rich, indulgent, and unforgettable. Every bite was worth the hype. The rest of the menu didn’t disappoint either, with generous portions and flavors that hit the spot.
Beyond the food, the entire experience was packed with fun. Belmont Park offers a great mix of carnival rides, classic boardwalk games, and a lively indoor arcade that kept us entertained for hours. It had just the right mix of nostalgia and modern fun.
What really impressed us was the pricing. Food, gifts, and even the attractions were all very reasonable, especially for a popular beachside location. It felt like you were getting your money’s worth without being nickel-and-dimed.
We’re already planning to come back the next time we’re in San Diego. Belmonty’s and Belmont Park are the kind of places that leave you smiling long after you’ve left.
PS.. they offer a free cone at Belmonty’s… Pay close attention...
Read moreFrom the moment the dish arrived, it was clear—this wasn’t just food. It was art. The aroma alone was enough to transport me to another world, where every ingredient had a purpose, every spice told a story, and every bite felt like a carefully orchestrated symphony of flavors.
The first taste? Perfection. The balance of textures, the harmony of sweet, savory, and umami, the way the flavors unfolded layer by layer—it was nothing short of magic. Every ingredient played its role flawlessly, as if they had been destined to meet on this plate.
The freshness was undeniable. It was as if the produce had been plucked from the earth that morning, the protein sourced with the utmost care, and the seasoning measured by the hands of a master. The attention to detail was staggering—each garnish placed with precision, each sauce drizzled with intention.
But beyond the taste, it was the experience that made it unforgettable. Every bite carried the warmth of passion, the dedication of the chef, and the love poured into the craft. This wasn’t just a meal—it was an adventure, a journey through flavor, and a moment in time I wished would never end.
Would I recommend it? Without hesitation. This was more than food—it was a memory, one that will linger long after...
Read moreI wish I would have looked at these reviews before I chose this establishment. The girl who took our order was Tori, a young woman, probably college aged, who had an attitude like a person with unrealistic dreams and never achieved them, so she got stuck here. Either that, she was PMS-ing. Or she is self-entitled and parents forced her to get a job. Either way, her attitude sucked. I got to the window and said, I have a big order.
She says, we have a 20 to 30 wait right now. 😒
That's okay. I just want one combo and funnel cake.
We are currently not serving funnel cake. Our oil is too low. 😒
Oh... okay, well, we will just have the single combo then.
And when the machine did not read my debit card, Tori proceeds to aggressively swipe it. Still, did not go through. Fine, I paid cash. And she sure didn't get a tip from me. Fix your attitude, girl. You will not get far in life...
