I’ve been here a few times. Accidental discovery. I really wish I had known it was here when I lived on campus at UCSD. So fresh and healthy. Price is great for what you get. The veg is endless in the bowls. That is, if you get all toppings. First time I went, I just said yes to everything on the gyros bowl and I didn’t know what most of it was or how it would taste. It was sooooo good!! My mom and I shared and it was ALOT of food.
I’ve added sides which are small and expensive but they are delicious. I got tired of it for awhile so took a break but now I want it!
The jalapeño hummus was quite spicy hot and I can eat quite hot but it was good. My stomach wasn’t happy with the heat so I just get the regular one. They have plenty of sauces to choose from.
they have several locations in all high end areas. The name is funny to me just bc it sounds Italian or french but I know some owners of another place that know the woman (go female business owners) and said she is the real deal lol. I’m not bias in my review just because of extremely negligible connection!
The place is small, and parking sometimes charges but frequently gate is open in the daytime. There is a great Eastern European deli/market next door too.
The reason that I give it 4/5 is due to service. I don’t know if it’s because I’m obviously physically disabled or bc I’m black or all of the above. Im not pulling the race card as people love to accuse others of unless absolutely impossible to deny. And being minorities doesvt mean all minorities are nice go other groups.
I was able to ask questions but felt very uncomfortable. I can’t explain it. It was just a tension I felt. Only 1 time did I feel that the workers were friendly. When a line is there, I felt hurried and like they were irritated that I was taking so long.
Maybe I’m a little sensitive but I have mostly felt a bit unwelcome for the 3/4 visits.
I don’t always have my crutches and one day I did. My crutches are specialized and most people would know they aren’t for a temporary surgery or injury. I needed help but no one offered at cashier. I know many places are like this unfortunately but it’s just disappointing. I was parked in handicap parking space rigjt in front so it would have been nice to have someone offer help especially when no line is around. I’m sure I could have asked but I didn’t feel comfortable.
When you enter the shop, the utensil areas and soft drink fridge is very near the door. On 1 of the 4 times I went, I always put my food on the counter because hello, I’m physically Disabled. I was getting napkins and needed utensils. I incidentally caught the cashier and 1 worker looking at me as if to make sure I wasn’t going to steak something! I know this seems hard to believe but I’ve definitely had this happen at other places too especially when I lived in the area on campus and was out off campus in my powerchair. I’ve had undercover store employees follow me and I have a insulin pump that’s often in a mini pouch under mt clothes. I’ve had multiple episodes especially at CVS in La Jolla where undercover employees would pretend to be liking at items and tried to fit in but when face to face, I literally see there eyes go rigjt at my pouch. It has tubing so sometimes that helps. I get so tired of it that I often just make sure people can clearly see I’m wearing m medical device especially when walking around.
So maybe I’m just overly sensitive but I definitely felt this caught off guard staring and quickly looking away when I accidentally saw them. I’ve been there several times and I do stand out enough that ppl frequently recognize me so the more I felt this was awkward bc it felt less likely that I was being stared at bc of disability. I took a break but going again bc it’s delish!!
Update: ordered pick up to go a few days ago & my order was missing the added Dolma I paid extra for;(! So I guess I need to check my order if I order pick up using online app but it was on the receipt.

Read morest experience. I ordered my food for pick-up at 6:30pm. It was supposed to be ready for pick up by 7:14 but kept getting delayed which is normally not a big deal. I ended up calling the store around 7:30 asking about my order and at first they couldn't find it. I have been on the phone with them for about 10 mins while the guy is asking question and there is some girl speaking Español. I fortunately speak Español and she was being very rude. I ended up walking down there while they were still on the phone and I'm about half way down and they tell me that some delivery driver picked up my food. I then proceeded with well why did the delivery driver pick up my food when it was a pick up order by me and they didn't have an answer for me which is fine things happen but the issue I had was I've waited over an hour for my food it's about 745 at this point they close at 8 PM. And I get there and I'm getting attitude I'm getting things told me that weren't true I have a girl speaking in Spanish saying some rude things when this wasn't my fault all I wanted was my food and then I get told that ground beef is about a 10 minute wait so I told him that I would wait 10 minutes. I proceeded to wait 10 minutes and I didn't even get ground beef in my food. Now when they told me my order was ready I took the bag and left. I am about I would say 1200 feet away from the building and I have an employee run out and give me two parts of my food that was missing from my order and no apology nothing. And by that time I get home they're close and I don't get my extra chicken that I paid for I did not get my ground beef I did not get my extra pita and I couldn't do anything about it because they were closed I tried to get a hold of the manager today and nobody was willing to help me this was just an all-around horrible experience...
Read moreI found this little place during Covid and I’m not 100% sure but I believe it had different owners. The food is pretty decent for a chipotle style place. You’re not getting any perks and I know that coming to this restaurant. it used to be our go to place during Covid because we could pick it up and take it home. it seem like the service was pretty great until Covid wrapped up. Last night I was craving falafel and wanted to take my girlfriend and my son. My girlfriend has never been here so she was asking questions and so was I, in every comment they seemed to have an attitude behind it. There is no hi, or how are you they had no Smiles or any consideration that we do not work there and don’t know everything like they do. If you’re looking for Mediterranean food, I would suggest going to cava which is right down the street. They at least have good service and are happy to see people come in the doors. I wouldn’t be surprised if this restaurant closes at some point from the decline in service. I never understood how people can give attitude in a restaurant business, they seem to forget there is so many businesses that we can choose from and don’t have to go there, so why...
