Was there this weekend visiting from AZ, place is like the hole in the wall situation that you see in your typical New York movies. Dine in is nothing crazy and if you are looking to save time like most of the other reviews, just ask for take out. I told them it was for dine-in knowing that it would mean being there for longer. No one bothered us, even with the place having constant foot traffic (You know the food is good when people keep walking in and out). At some point some kids ran in hiding from their friends. I thought they were just playing around running through the area when all of sudden a couple coaches and chaperones came in with about a party of 10 kids. It was not a bother, they sat down in the bench located in the middle, chaperones on the side tables, and it even made the place feel more family friendly. Only downside was that they ran out of beer options when I got there. It was Saturday at about 6:00 PM so I get it, Friday came in strong. Only options I had were the regular sodas, Coors Light and Stone IPA. Got my girlfriend a sprite and I would drink an IPA any day before any Coors light so I went with that option, great addition to the delicious pizza which definitely packs the NY feel to it and is AMAZING. Giant pie was $32 which is justified with the giant slices you get. Ate to satisfaction, took some home for the family, they loved it. From the reviews people are skeptical after their Hoboken rebrand but although I never came here back in the Hoboken management, I can assure that Rizers pizza delivered the best quality and customer service they could with such a busy location. Asked for ranch and homie brought it straight way 👍

Coming from New Haven, Ct and having, in my opinion the best selection of pizza restaurants around, Hoboken did not disappoint. Thin crust, cooked to perfection and well done, as requested. Toppings were not skimpy and flavor was, "Chef's Kiss." It was great to have the flavors of home. As far as the Atmosphere. Well it is a JOINT.. booths definitely could use some TLC as they were a bit beat up looking. Bathrooms were clean! Music was fun, 60-70's R&B playing through the speakers and TV's had the Baseball games playing...A definite PIZZA JOINT we will be back to.

recently visited San Diego and hung out with a couple friends at Kate Sessions Park, and they brought two delicious pies from Hoboken. Husband used to live in NYC, so that New York style pizza hits the spot. What I loved about this joint in particular were the interesting and delicious topping combos. and our 11 month old son couldn’t get enough! anyway, it was a perfect day during a weird time, and this pizza really hit the spot. Cheers to all you small business folks keeping the rest of us fed and happy-ish. you the real MVPs 🙌🏼

Hoboken Pizza is the best pizza I've had on the entire West Coast, and best I've had since living in New Jersey. Phenomenal thin crust selections as well as Sicilian; it was a pleasure to stop in. You know this place is great when they have garlic powder on the side to top off your own slice with. For me, that has been a telltale sign of a great pizza place. Not only was the atmosphere awesome with a dive bar feel and paying homage to some of New Jersey's finest on the wall (a la Springsteen and Sinatra), but the staff working was some of the most efficient group of individuals I've seen during a rush.

My only experience was on the 4th of July and it was absolutely swamped. My friends and I were lucky to snag a picnic style table in the middle. During that time, the 6 or so individuals seemed to move as a single machine and would pick up the register where one employee left off, swapped out and cut pizzas and readied to go orders as another individual made easily 10+ pizzas in the 20 minutes we were there.

To top it all off, a patron was feeling a little too "patriotic" and had proceeded to vomit on herself from the day's excursions. Within seconds an employee was there with a bucket and went above and beyond to make sure the young lady was alright and had her friend escort her out of the business and presumably home. Within 5 minutes from start to finish, the employees had correctly sanitized and cleaned the booth and anyone who walked in to grab a slice was none the wiser. All of this while it was a packed house, and multiple online orders had been coming in. It truly was an impressive sight to see.

I will definitely be back to Hoboken Pizza next time I'm in San Diego, and I recommend any and all to visit and get a phenomenal slice of NJ...

I’d like to review this place as good bc the food is decent but the customer service is HORRIBLE. I’ve been in several times, and have ordered for delivery, and as previous commenters state, it is usually a 1.5-2 hour wait though they’ll tell you 45 minutes. I have tried to order 3x in a row through delivery through them, not a service like grubhub, and every time they do not deliver anything less than FREEZING cold congealed cheese, that was clearly sitting for over an hour before it was sent out. When you call to complain the guys are extremely rude, put you on hold and leave you in for a long time without answering. When you do get a person, they respond with “well what do you expect ordering on a Sunday night?” Not rudeness! I asked for delivery and you said 45 minutes, I guess that’s what I expected? Sucks bc this place used to be amazing but I guess the guys who are working there now just don’t care enough. Sucks...
