Very small store front. Inside a busy mall. Something to consider if you have a group, children, or plan to stay there. Lines are long and uncomfortable (really tight space).
They run out of empanadas really quickly due to the locals always getting there first before everyone else. I suggest you call, but they may or may not be helpful. They make a small batch, but at the same time do not have a set limit on how many one can order.
Staff is somewhat incompetent, for example, they forgot my empanada, gave me two broken ones, and gave me a broken macaroon as well. It wouldn't be a hassle, but parking is just terrible in this location. Long walking distance. It is very pricey, small portioned, and as mentioned by some not authentic Argentinian empanadas. I got one of each, and tried their pastries as well. They are FILLED WITH SALT and the bread filled with butter, which overpowered the tastes of the many choices of meat and vegetable fillings they had. Pastries tasted like store bought cookies and macaroons. It was a quick stop. I would avoid and look for empanadas elsewhere as these taste like commercial/imitation (store bought) empanadas and macaroons.
The quality of food is not up-to-par with their nice storefront. Disappointing --could improve in taste and customer service. The regulars love this for some reason. The customers (mostly local) can be rude and uptight (cut line, block really small entrance, and socialize right in front of the store making it an uninviting atmosphere and stressful dining experience if you choose to eat there.
If you are not into food that is filled with salt, sugar and butters, I would avoid this place as it uses so many filler ingredients to accommodate for the...
Read moreI'm really disappointed to see all the negative reviews, judging from all the times that I've gone there have been lines, sauces from the chimmichurri to the chipotle chimichurri and spicy roasted tomatoes, even the white sauce when available are full of flavor and great, I hate to use this word but the few people that complained about the flavor and taste are simply people who complain about life. If you don't like a place then don't eat at the establishment and spend your money elsewhere. Many people love the empanadas from this place including myself who has made a routine to buy the mushroom, chicken chipotle and the beans. If you don't enjoy them then all I have to say is, you are nuts to not appreciate these specially for the price compared to all the expensive things in the market. 😁😁😁😁👋 Oh yea also I love the initials on the empanadas that's one of the best parts of buying them, knowing what you are eating before...
Read moreWe’ve been here twice and I’ve tried all the flavors now. We’ve been on a mission the last few years to find the best empanadas, and these are our favorite. Couldn’t tell you if they’re authentic… but I can tell you’re they’re awesome! My favorites are the spicy beef and the chipotle chicken. The vegan jackfruit is also good. I like them all, but surprisingly, my least favorite are the 5 cheese and the margarita (which is also just cheese). I say surprise because I love cheese!! But it’s just a little too much cheese? I feel like it would be better if there were some marinara to dip it in! Anyway, I also loooove their chimichurri sauces and could drink them. I wish they had an option for a big family-style salad order. Should have taken pics but they’re always...
