Perfect Pizza — Restaurant in San Diego

We placed a delivery order through DoorDash and were extremely clear with our customizations. When the pizza arrived, it was completely wrong. We double checked the receipt and our order was very clearly outlined, so the mistake is on the restaurants end. Wanting to give them a chance to fix it, we drove to the restaurant in person and explained the issue. Instead of owning the mistake, the staff told us that “these types of orders are best done over the phone vs. on DoorDash.” First of all if you are going to partner with DoorDash, you should know how to properly fulfill those orders. Blaming the customer or the platform is lazy and unprofessional. Despite explaining the correct order face to face this time, they still got it wrong. At this point it’s not just a mistake, it’s carelessness and a complete lack of attention to detail. Save yourself the time, the frustration, and the drive. There are too many pizza places out there that actually might care about getting your order right...

The pizza is delicious. I wish I could give a 5 star. Unfortunately, I've had a few disappointed moments. The last 3 times I've ordered gluten-free pizza, all 3 times I'm told there is no more after I get to the store to pick up. What upset me the most is that on Thursday Oct 31, understandably they were busy. I placed my order at 2:30 pm. I was told to pick up at 5:30. I arrived at 5:15 and waited until 6 pm when I was told there was no more gluten free. Someone who ordered at 4:30 pm was given the last one at 5:45pm. Although I was understanding and patient, I was treated like they didn't care. It took them another 15 min to refund my money. I left there at 6:30 with no pizza. Since it's not the 1st time this happened I'm definitely convinced that customer service is...

I've just recently started grabbing food from this place as it's nearby and wanted to support a local business as I saw on next-door that it was broken into recently.

Saw some pictures and reviews and though it wouldn't hurt to try their lunch special. I was pleasantly surprised as I the deep-dish pepperoni pizza was quite good! The crusting is darkened and pronounced enough to give it a light but noticeable crunch which did a lot for texture. The cheese had solid flavor and pull as well when it was fresh without it feeling too heavy, and the pepperoni was standard.

At least for a lunch special coming in at around $9 for a 4-piece deep dish and side soda, I thought it was well worth the price! Will definitely be coming back in the future to try out the rest...
