I’ve been a fan of this place and frequently recommend it to coworkers, even noting that while it’s a bit pricey, the quality has always made it worth it. However, my experience on Wednesday night was disappointing.

I ordered the Carne Asada fries ($17), and when they arrived, I was surprised by the portion of meat—it was sparse, maybe eight small pieces. This was far from the generous servings we’re used to. My husband and I spoke to the staff about it, and while they eventually added extra meat, it came with a noticeable attitude. Mario insisted that the portion size was standard, but this was not consistent with our previous visits.

It’s worth mentioning that the staff seemed different that evening, so perhaps there was a change in the kitchen. We’ve always appreciated the food here, but this experience left us hesitant. The situation could have been handled better, especially given the price point and the tip we left. Originally, my husband and I were going to share the Carne Asada fries and order rolled tacos to share after if we were still hungry.

Ultimately, we decided to skip ordering anything else and went to Primos down the street for rolled tacos instead, which turned out to be great. While I still think the food here is usually good, this experience makes me hope the team addresses consistency and customer service noting That after reading reviews, others have had the same...

If you want pieces of bone, plastic, and avocado pit in your burritos then this is the place for you!!!!

Now the food itself is not bad at all, the quality has just gone down fast.

I used to get the Carne Asada burrito but lately I have been finding pieces of bone in the meat. It's a bad experience to be enjoying a burrito and then all of a sudden bite down on a piece of bone. There needs to be some sort of quality check on the meat.

I found a piece of plastic in my burrito as well, but I gave this place another chance.

The last straw from this place was biting down and finding a half an avocado Pit in my burrito. Clearly no quality check on the food they serve there.

This isn't a one time thing either, I gave this place multiple chances but still no quality from them

Sorry but will not be going back and I will advise others to avoid this...

First time eating here but was in the neighborhood and decided to try it out due too a majority of the reviews being favorable. Man I'm glad I did!

We ordered Huevos Rancheros, an Enchilada combination and veggie fries. Everything was GREAT! The beans were flavorful and not oily, the rice was also flavorful and very fresh. Not at all dry like some places. The Enchilada sauce was very tasty with a nice kick (not too much). The Huevos Rancheros were flavorful and authentic.

The only thing that could have used something is the veggie fries. Though cooked perfectly and covered in guacamole and crema, it needed something. Guessing they count on whatever meat that typically goes on the regular fries and these needed that kick. Will likely ask for some beans on them if we order again.

All in all clean restaurant with great service and even better...

I ordered Rancho Viejo fries (carne asada fries). The order took just a few minutes and wow it was a lot of food! A deep layer of crispy frenchie fries, topped with real grated cheese, pico de gallop, guacamole, and sour cream. Heaven! I tried the green salsa and it was very good, but the fries really didn't need it because the flavors were just right. Very nice atmosphere and decor. I found parking easily too. I had checked them out on the web a couple days ago. Lots of good reviews and tons of great pictures.

For more than $20, my carne was a very small portion than the food didn’t even have enough to fill the tray half way. I could not eat knowing how disturbing this was, so I gave it to a homeless person at least someone was happy!!! Never again I will go to this place for food.! Everyone is hurting, but hurting others is more evil..!!!

Really good and inexpensive Mexican food. I got the carnitas and grilled chicken. They are the big tacos. Two steamed corn tortillas guac and pico. They also have mini tacos if that is your thing. The salsa bar has a nice selection and free spicy carrots!
