I ordered Carne Asada FRIES thru Uber Eats and received chips, then when I called the restaurant to ask about their mistake the man on the phone laughed. When I asked for a refund and offered to return the item he instead blamed the delivery driver when the receipt attached to the order clearly states carne Asada FRIES! He then hung up on me when I refused to accept his lie and asked to speak to his manager. Disgusting behavior for a restaurant and will never give them business again. HOW RUDE!!! I personally work as an Uber delivery driver to help support my family and can see how these restaurants shift blame for their mistakes to the app and delivery drivers. I've seen restaurants allow random people to take delivery orders without checking if that person indeed has the order number and then lie and say the orders were stolen when I watched it happen in front of my face (The Melt, Downtown sd). I've seen restaurant employees yell at delivery drivers for asking simple questions about their pickups or time estimates(Brueggers Bagels, Pacific Beach) , myself included. I've seen roaches and rats inside and around these establishments (Sonic, National City), and workers eating while working shoving their fingers in their mouths and then handling clean dishes, then wiping their hands on their back pant pockets and then serving food, no hand washing occurred at any time(Dennys, La Mesa, Spring st.), but when these things are reported they laugh and say and do nothing. I got refunded thru Uber finally, but for all this hassle I should've just ordered a pizza...

This spot used to be my work lunch go-to because it's so close, and the food was always pretty great and very fast. But the last 4 times in a row I've gone in, they have messed up my order. I only ever order the same 3 ingredient burrito, but the last 4 times they've left out 1 of the 3 ingredients. I even politely asked the gentleman at the register to clarify my order before it was cooked this time, knowing it has been wrong so frequently, and seeing on the receipt that it was typed in wrong (again). He shrugged and said that it was fine, said nothing more, called out my order for pick up as I had ordered it, but still handed me the wrong order (to the kitchen's credit, the ticket keeps saying the wrong order as well, so they're just following the instructions.) it's disappointing that the new register guy doesn't seem to care; he barely gave me the time of day, and has messed up a very simple order 4 times in two weeks. I'm bummed to say I won't be coming back despite the face that it was a favorite...

Never again. Whatta joke. Almost $12 for the Asada Fries for 2. I ordered refried beans and Pico on top, for an extra $3. They may have given me a table spoon of refried beans and a quarter teaspoon of Pico. What's worse is they call it "fries for 2". Bull. But once I got into the car and saw what was left of the brutal raping I had just paid for, it took all of me to not go in there and throw it through the kitchen window, something I would have deemed worth the $12. But I contained myself and I'll never go back. After I had paid and threw the remaining change in the tip jar, I decided to grab a soda while I waited. That will be $1.08. I had a dollar and she looked at me like I was crazy. I mentioned the whole, I just gave that 8 cents to you but that fell on deaf ears. Just a...
