I should have taken a picture of the burrito to show. I Ordered a ancho shrimp burrito minus beans. Added avocado slices. Total $14.25. Ingredients inside were 4 shrimp, a little salsa and about 1 lb of rice. The rice was the consistency of minute rice and was bland. If the rice were lighter and it had more flavor I could let it go. But the price of the burrito did not match up to quality. At wholesale restaurant food prices the cost of ingredients was maybe $1.00. Rice is cheap and tortillas are cheap. I can't imagine they are paying the employees that much and the rent on the building justifies the cost of the burrito being almost $15.00. I can't understand how this place filed for bankruptcy protection and closed restaurants with a 1400% markup on the food. I understand covid affected the restaurant business but come on Ralph. The high prices for the low quality is out of control. Luckily I had a ok fish taco to tide me over till I went to another place that loaded the shrimp in the burrito like they dumped it out of a fish net into...
Read moreThis is not the most easily accessible Rubio's. It's parking lot is a bit quaint and is sometimes difficult to maneuver in and out of. However, the food and service make considerable efforts make up for that.
This location is often clean, air conditioned and staffed with friendly and flexible workers. I usually order a California burrito from here. And considering that I rarely eat red meat the staff have on occasion swapped out my red meat for shrimp, making it a California Shrimp burrito (which is not on the menu). I for one appreciate that accommodating service and am sure others will/do.
While I have limited experience with the other menu items at this location, the "California Shrimp Burrito" hits the spot. It's combination of crunchy fries, guacamole, cheese and shrimp meld together deliciously. The food and service here have always made my dining experiences with...
Read moreUpdating my experiences with this Rubio's. Still consistently missing items as in today's order that I received via delivery. About 2 weeks ago I also got an order that included stale hard chips, two bags of those and another problem with my food being cold. Always disappointed in this Branch that they continually are making mistakes. It may be due to young staff not fully trained which would fall to the manager to be on top of that. Totally disappointing but it is close to my house so I keep trying. Corporate does respond very fast and makes things right, but when you're about to eat your food and you're missing the tortilla or the salsa or you've got a burn tortilla things like that. That it doesn't make it a...
